These are very loud and we keep them around our neck when we have tornado watches or warnings.
We have a large home and we are seniors. If we fall we use the whistles to alert our spouse that we need help.

They work great. They have a cancer warning. Does all plastic have a cancer warning?

Cheap and work great
I attach these on all of my kid's life jackets. That way if they get thrown out of boat they can immediately start blowing. My three-year-old blows his constantly but better safe than sorry. They are also hand when FWC does a safety check and ask for my sound producing device I don't have to dig one out of dry storage.

Seems sturdy, has a loud sound, Bright red color so you can find it quick if you son'e already have it on your person.

Loud and clear
I have attached these to our life jackets for when we are out kayaking. Loud, easy to see/find. A necessary piece of safety equipment - would also be good to have in/on your backpack.
