So now that I've used more than one tool in this set, I figured I'd make a review. It's a great set so I'm not down grading because this one socket was bad. The small one the first time I go to use it I break the tip off of it which sucks since it was a small bolt so it shouldn't have broke. I had to use my 3/8 drive non impact gear wrench one to get it off. So that's a bummer, but the other ones are good.

Time will tell but these seem like solid tools. The price is great.

Love the set, I have used it extensively on my Jeep YJ rebuild. My only dislike is that they are not all the same size drive. Adapters 1/2" to 3/8 would be nice if it was included in the set.

These are a set of 7 star [NOT Torx brand] impact socket bits. They look to be decently made, the 3/8"socket is very clean and looks well machined. They are one piece construction with a black oxide finish. My package stated 'Made in Taiwan' , which matches the COO in the description.Each bit is marked NEIKO PRO/ CR-MO Tzz. The marking is clear, and I can see it w/o my reading glasses if I hold it about 14 " away from me.Personally, I like the Blow molded case to keep them all in order and neatly arranged. There is a lot of space between each one, so the case could be about 25% smaller in each dimension.The neck is quite long, should reach almost any deep recessed bolt head. I measured it, and it is 1.75" before it starts the curve out to the base.Have not used them yet, but will be keepoing them in mind for when I do use them.I plan to use these w/ my Craftsman 19.2V impact wrench, & so they should not be over torqued as some other posters have mentioned.The truck brand are about 6x more expensive, ie one S-O bit [regular length] is more than the cost of the entire set, which was ~25 usd.

As the other (poor) reviews mention, these bits look to easy to damage. This is the SECOND time I've ordered them (used), and I am rewarded again with a broken bit. The first time it was the T25. This second time it's the T20. Both broken bits were sheared off about 1mm off the tip. I would imagine that most people would use the more common T20 - T25 - T27 - T30 sizes, so it's disappointing that the broken sizes are right in this range. If theses smaller sizes are so fragile, why make them and claim they are impact rated? I have a cheap Neiko S2 tool steel non-impact rated set and have used them (yeah, I know) on my 150 lb-ft rated impact driver with success - I find it weird that these impact rated bit sockets are arriving broken. I am going to give up on these things and look elsewhere for another option. Thank you Amazon for your generous return policy.

broke the t45 the first time using it with my 3/8" electric impact gun (only goes up to 150 ft lbs). beware...

This tool was exactly what I needed. It fit the bolts perfectly and I was able to complete the repair.
