I just cooked a batch of Salsa using this heat diffuser on my gas stove top. I used a 14 quart stainless steel pot on top of the diffuser to cook the salsa. Every year I have used this stainless steel pot to make salsa, it would burn my salsa where the flame hit the bottom of the pot. Not this year. NO burnt salsa on the bottom using the heat diffuser.

This works very well as I didn't want to go out and buy new pans for the induction cooktop. My only gripe is that it got dirty very easily with first use and stained. Hopefully, I can use some baking soda to remove

This works as advertised. There's not much to say about it it's just a piece of metal on a handle. But it is a good size and the handle is the proper size and away from the pot and pans

I’ve had it less than a month and, with moderate use, it’s very warped and severely delaminating. I use it on an electric stove so it’s not getting blasted with flame. I’m extremely dissatisfied. I’m not wasting my time to return it. It’s not worth a minute of my time or a penny of my gasoline 🤬DON’T BUY THIS!

Have used several times , works great for pans that are not induction. Used for heating wax for candles, just by putting glass jar on plate works wonderfully.

I get to use my expensive Cuisinart pots and pans on my induction cooktops. All my favorite aluminum pans are back in action, too. Since the plate goes between the cooktop and the pan, it shouldn't get dirty with use. Recommending to all my friends!

Product arrived in good condition; purchased to protect glass cooktop from iron cookware. On first use it discolored from shiny stainless steel to a coppery color (on both sides). Don't think this will affect use or effectiveness, but curious. "Stay cool" handle doesn't. Otherwise overall happy with price and function.

I bought this for my new home that came with an induction cooktop. I didn’t realize that with induction cooktops you need either stainless steel or cast iron/enameled cast iron cookware. I got this to try and save some money by not buying all new pots and pans; I placed this plate directly on the induction top and it registered/heated fine but when I placed for example my large frying pan on top (which normally heated well and evenly with prior gas/electric stoves) it didn’t transfer the heat at all. The pan got a little warm in the center but that was it.
