SCREENARAMA New Screen Replacement for Lenovo Thinkpad T440S, FHD 1920x1080, IPS, Matte, LCD LED Display with Tools

Install was fairly easy - followed tutorials/videos which are all over the internet. Screen is nice an bright - no dead pixels. I need to buy some new double sided tape since the outer bezel doesn't want to stick with the old tape - but not the fault of this product.

Installed the screen onto my t440s, surprisingly the tools provided were pretty decent so I did not have to take out my iFixit toolkit. The screen itself is miles ahead of my previous 1600x900 panel. I do recommend getting some thin double sided tape just incase the tape on the plastic bezel gets scuffed up during removal. If you have a 1600x900 TN screen I highly recommend swapping it out with this, Windows detects it just fine and brightness control works as well.

Installed in a T440S. Works great. Bright and vivid. It replaced an AU Optronics B140HAN01.2 panel that I had installed previously (but was damaged during use) and I cannot tell any difference in display quality. No dead pixels that I could find. Running Linux so I have no idea if the brightness controls work in Windows. Very Pleased.

The most difficult part is removing the adhesive that holds the very thin bezel with out ripping it. Once it's off installing the screen is very straightforward. The screen is very bright and comfortable to use in outside in daylight. Colors feel true.

Great quality screen, colors look very good. more screen real-estate when compared to the 1600x900. Installation was very easy just peeling off the bezels and undoing 4 screws and removing the ribbon cable from the old display. Would definitely buy again!

I had a friend who needed a laptop and I happened to have an older Lenovo ThinkPad with a cracked screen. I saw some videos on how to replace the screen, so I ordered this screen and it works perfectly so far. The only weird thing is that the "bezel" or "frame" for the ThinkPad is basically a sticker. Pulling it off and putting it back on ends up a little off kilter. But that really has nothing to do with this replacement screen, it has to do with this brand of laptop. And honestly it doesn't look bad unless you're really looking for it.

Product delivered in 2 days with very good packaging. New screen was protected with adhesive sheet and all tools included. Replacement instructions can easily be found on Youtube and the whole process took around 30 minutes.My original 1600x900 screen was not working at all. First power up after replacement would see the Thinkpad opening screen and booted into Windows but no image on the new screen. Luckily I had the Lenovo connected to a second screen and upon reboot, voila, the new screen showing 1080p resolution in Windows. No dead pixel and the screen is very well made and definitely worth it. My T440s will live another 2-3 years (finger crossed)..

I was surprised that it didn't come with replacement instructions, but those are readily available online. In addition to the screen they included fine tweezers and a depressor which both proved very helpful, and a scalpel which I was a little baffled by. Once installed the screen worked with zero fuss, and it looks pretty great. A huge improvement over the 900p TN panel that came with the laptop.

Decided to order this replacement screen due to my original screen being cracked. Normally I don't write reviews but I was impressed how fast the replacement screen came in. First time replacing a screen on a laptop and it happened to be with the T440s. I just watched a quick 2min guide on youtube and everything was smooth. The new screen gives a laptop a HUGE difference.
