I am so pleased with the performance of this little mixer! I also own a Behringer PMP5000 (which has been such a great work horse). This thing is great if you have powered speakers. It's clean, fairly basic and just really does the job. I do miss the sweepable mid EQ, which gives you a lot more control. I got a great warehouse deal on this thing, and so far so good!

GREAT mixer for the money! Plenty of features. Great for small stage and two track recording. Easy to use and the sound quality is clear. If you are a total newbie, take the time to learn the basics of any mixer and you can easily apply that knowledge to this unit!

Item failed after 3 months and I cannot get any service from Behringer or Music Tribe. Very disappointed in customer service.

I only give it four stars, because I have not had enough experience with it yet. I am working on my first original music CD release. It gives me good control and is a seamless interface with my digital audio workstation (DAW). I use Cakewalk Sonar for my recording and engineering, after notating in Noteworthy Composer music software. I use multiple microphones to record live instruments on background virtual instruments. I like the sound quality. I like that I can add effects as I record, although right now I prefer adding them post recording. I am still learning its utility which I know is far more than I have exploited in the short time I have had it (less than three months). I like the effectiveness of the equalizer feature. I am still learning what the compressor does. I know it is important. Again, this is why I give it four stars, but fully expect to upgrade to five stars.

Impossible to talk to their tech support for service. Replaced an older mixer that worked great but eventually broke. This was a great replacement.
