Porter Cable N003307SV Pressure Switch (1 Hose Clamp Included)

My compressor did not shut off... had to manually turn off and on which was a pain. I figured it was the pressure switch so I got it. I am glad I did. The directions were okay... they did not say how to get the motor off the tank (look closely on both front and the back and you will see 2 black screws on the lower side by the tank mounts... remove those and slide the motor off).The switch did not come with a mounting screw or clamp like in the picture. I reused my screw and just happened to have a worm clamp. Put the switch on and fired her up and works great!

I have a small Porter Cable air compressor and it suddenly failed to regulate tank pressure. Googled the problem and learned it was likely a bad pressure switch. I matched the part to this one and purchased it. I reviewed an online installation video and the included instructions. This was an easy repair and the part works great! You will need a few tools to replace this part- screwdriver, torx bits and long shaft extension, pliers, heavy-duty cutter and an ear clamp crimper. I used a hose clamp instead of the included ear clamp since I did not have the proper crimper. I’m happy with this purchase. It arrived quickly and complete with all parts required.

Not the easiest install but not the worst. For my generation compressor the tube was about 2 inches too long but it was an easy trim. Back to cycling between 120 and 150psi as normal.

After seeing a video that seemed to perfectly diagnose my compressor's problem, I ordered this part. The mentioned video is so detailed it gave me the confidence to attempt repairing my compressor. I just followed the step-by-step instructions on the video and my compressor has been working properly ever since with heavy use. I would recommend, be careful that you feel you've diagnosed your problem correctly to ensure this replacement part will fix your issue. Never have had to replace a pressure switch in an air compressor, but after my PC air compressor's motor wouldn't shut off and the relief valve was lifting around 175 psi I googled the issue and this was the fix. This part was a match for my model number. Shipping was quick, parts were new and perform as expected.

The part fit my compressor fine but the directions were for a different version than mine so I had to download a schematic. You also need to examine your specific model and see exactly what type of screw heads you will need. Mine required two sizes of Torx drivers with long thin shanks which I did not have. Also plan on taking the entire thing apart. With the proper tools on hand the job should be done in 30 minutes. The only other thing I would mention is that the tube is a little long for my model and I may have to go back and shorten it if the bends turn into kinks. That being said I would buy this again.

This product worked as advertised, unlike the two I bought before would definitely recommend this for your porter cable compressor.Dont by the cheap one that came with 2 neither of them worked

This piece was a perfect fit for my Porter C2002 air compressor. Taking apart the compressor was a slight challenge. You need a T20 screw driver with a shaft of at least five inches for at least one of the screws. Getting the housing off the tank takes a little tugging but it can be done. Remembering how the motor comes out of the housing will make it easier to put it back together. In another review, someone suggested using a screw clamp instead of the crimp clamp that comes with the switch; that is a great idea. One last suggestion, cut your new hose to the same size as your old hose before you start reassembling your compressor.These parts must go bad often. My compressor had less than five hours on it when this switch went. The new switch is working fine; I hope it lasts longer.

Used for air compressor

This part was identical to the original and did not require any additional modification. The pressure settings are accurate. The part replacement was not difficult.

The item took well over a month to arrive. It was identical to the original part, installed easily and worked as required to shut off and restart the compressor at the proper pressure points.
