Works for compact sports and biking since the shorts provide safe padding. Those compact sports usually cause bruising but have noticed I haven’t had any as of late. The sizing is great and fits just right. They hug and not feel tight which dies not lead to discomfort after wearing them in long period of times. They feel soft and are great for those with sensitive skin. Easy to wash and hang dry that will go back to its original form. It does get cleaned after wash and wont have any body order residue. The padding was well stitched on and will not rip despite how impactful the sport may be.

My son has now used these sliding shorts for over a year. Hundreds of runs through the washer and dryer after quite a few hours on the field, and they have held up amazingly. He has always boasted about how comfortable they are. They hold an athletic cup well. They are compression without being too tight. The padding definitely helps give a little cushion during practice and games (both football and baseball). Will definitely be buying again for a size up.

The cup shifts around during heavy movement, which could be uncomfortable or risky. Additional Layer Needed: For a more secure fit, we ended up using a separate jock strap underneath, which adds an extra layer and some hassle. Final Thoughts: These sliding shorts are a great option for general use, offering solid protection and comfort. However, for positions like catcher, where secure cup placement is critical, the lack of jock straps is a drawback. If Youper addressed this issue, it would be a perfect 5-star product. Overall, my son feels well-protected, and we’re happy with the purchase!

My nephew loves this padded sliding short! He’s worn it several times and says it’s very comfortable. The material feels cool and is great quality. It has a cup pocket inside the short. Since he likes it so much, I’m really happy I bought it for him.
