Great for artist!!!
I got this for art, and it’s honestly way better than a regular mechanical pencil. The lead rotates automatically, so you don’t get those annoying thick edges that make shading uneven. Lines stay sharp and consistent without having to adjust how you hold it. Pros: ✔ No chisel tip – Perfect for clean, precise lines. ✔ Glides smoothly – No scratchiness or skipping. ✔ Lightweight but sturdy – Feels good in hand without being too heavy. ✔ Refillable – No need to keep buying new pencils. Cons: ✖ The grip isn’t cushioned, so if you prefer a softer hold, it might take some getting used to. I added a squishy pencil grip to mine. ✖ The lead rotation works best with consistent pressure, so it might not be as noticeable if you do a lot of light sketching or if you don't lift you're pencil for long periods of time. Final Thoughts: If you sketch or do line work, this is a solid upgrade from a regular mechanical pencil. The self-sharpening feature keeps lines crisp, and it just makes the whole drawing process smoother. Definitely worth it!!!

This mechanical pencil is the best!
I’m an artist that goes through pens and pencils and when I saw this brand and its functions I jumped on Amazon to purchase it. It has the function to rotate the graphite/lead inside so you won’t ever have a flat spot (unless you intentionally don’t click the pencil). AMAZING buy for functionality. And the quality is equally superb! I bought these plastic and metal design which are both great for the price. Definitely one of the most comfortable designs in a mechanical pencil you can buy. The lead is very strong and I have had NO ISSUES whatsoever! It also has an eraser that is capped so uncapping it will reveal the small docile eraser. (Personally I don’t use them unless it’s for the smallest last minute touches). If you’re an artist, designer, architect…or whoever you may be, I HIGHLY recommend this pencil!

Writes well, but hurts my hand over time
Im relatively new to the world of mechanical pencils and this mechanical pencil is extremely light and is high quality so im happy! Although the plastic grip I found out is not ideal for writing for long periods of time. I might give this to a friend as im now looking for other options that have a more comfortable grip as when I hold this mechanical pencil the harsh plastic sits on my ring finger, causing it discomfort, only slightly better then a harsh metal grip for me. I researched further and im looking into the Pilot dr grip and another version of the uni kuratoga. if you value comfortability just be careful!

Best Mechanical pencil
Kuru toga will always be my favorite kind of pencil! It feels great in the hand, writes consistently, and is built to last! I use it the most for math and I love that is feels more consistent with writing which lets you write with smaller handwriting. What would be really cool, would be a version of the Kuru toga that has a twist eraser, that would elevate this pencil to new levels.

Great design
The Kuru toga pencil is my favorite writing utensil ever. Always sharp edges leads to less headaches and is satisfying to feel the mechanical rotations for every stroke. I usually get so frustrated with writing but this pencil is so subtle in its design that the translation from mind to page is totally unbothered. For possible notes on improvement, I would not mind a little more weight. Also, the eraser did not last very long and the eraser cap is very easy to lose. Love it though!

Great woodworking pencil
I absolutely love these pencils for woodworking. The graphite doesn't break and the amount that comes out per click is small enough to fine-tune. Love the orange color as well.

works fine, comfortable to hold, i gave 5-star because it didn't provide an option for rating the price. it is a fairly good product, but it's too expensive. i bought it because i thought it was made in japan, but it turned out to be not the case. i'm disappointed at that fact because the price does not justify it. if i knew it wasn't made in japan, i would not have bought it.
