SOLARONTwin Solid Burgandy Korean Mink Blanket

Excellent buy, while in the Marine Corp, I bought a Korean mink blanket when I was on Team Spirit in Pohang South Korea, circa 1985. That blanket is still in use and has maintained its color, softness and warmth throughout the years of use. It has been washed numerous times and some small fading has occurred but the quality remains. The price was approximately 25 dollars back then. I was never quite happy with the unicorn design on it and while surfing Amazon one day I noticed the Solaron Solid Burgundy Korean Mink Blanket. This blanket trumps my old one. If you want warmth and softness you won't be let down, especially at this incredible price. Time will tell on the blankets longevity. Trivial point but I think burgandy is spelled burgundy.

I bought this blanket to go on my younger son's twin bed. I was a little skeptical at first, because these blankets usually sell for much higher (especially when they're decent quality). However, I was pleasantly surprised by how thick and colorful the blanket was when it arrived.I immediately washed it according to instructions, and though I wasn't sure if I could add fabric softener (the label did not specify), I decided to chance it. After washing in warm water with Tide, OxyClean, and Downy (my laundry trifecta of choice!), the blanket came out just fine. The label did not say whether it could be dried or not (it says "do not wring"), so I placed it in the dryer on low heat to begin with. Because of the thickness, I decided to increase the heat to medium, and the blanket dried fine...no shrinkage or damage to the integrity of the material. The blanket is incredibly soft, which is perfect for my little man, who has Autism and loves to snuggle up in soft materials when he goes to bed at night.Since we placed this blanket on his bed, he has slept every single night in his own bed, and absolutely loves the feel of this soft and warm blanket.It holds color excellently through washing, and doesn't attract fuzz and other materials that microfiber and cheap faux knockoffs tend to gather (which was a concern of mine when I ordered a dark, solid color blanket!).If you want to wrap yourself in a little piece of luxury for a fraction of the price you'd pay elsewhere, I would highly recommend this blanket. It's the real deal, and incredibly well made.

Warm, but definitely not BURGUNDY, Corresponded several times with seller but all they had was a fire-engine red that did not resemble the BURGUNDY shown and already purchased in "baby blanket size" for my chair. The blanket is warm and a Solaron so it will find its way to a twin bed. Solaron are the warmest blankets on the market so for that quality I rate it 3 stars.

This blanket is exactly what I was looking for. It is very warm and soft. There was almost no pilling whatsoever, which seems to be a huge problem with most fuzzy blankets. This blanket feels kinda heavy on the body, which i like, but some may not. This blanket is definitely not a Chinese el cheapo, much to my relief. It is well made, thick, soft, and warm. I was extremely happy about the thickness. Also comes with a zippered plastic storage bag.
