A must-have if you are a bug magnet
Buy the whole outfit! It's worth the tiny expense, in fact I will probably order a spare. It does the job you need it to do. I got the jacket, which comes with a built-in hood that you can zip off, the pants, and another hood. I was just out after a rainstorm picking blackberries with this thing and I didn't get a single bite except on my thumb, which was exposed. I will say that for picking blackberries I did wear a coverall over the anti-bug outfit because I didn't want the netting to get torn on the thorns. The only con is that the suit is definitely on the warm side. I was outside for maybe an hour with it and I was definitely ready to come in and get it off me and take a shower. But I mean you can't have everything.I am the crack cocaine of bugs, it's a curse. You know the drill, you're outside, it's a beautiful evening in, say, early November, everybody is saying how nice it is that all the bugs are gone and you're standing there with like 20 bites and a flotilla of mosquitoes buzzing around you. You can apply insect repellent til the cows come home but the bugs will always find that one square millimeter that you missed. On social occasions I have learned to Just Say No. You want to come to the lake? No. You want to go have a drink on the patio? No. Want to go to the park? No. The irony is I own 36 acres so I do have to be outside a good bit. Generally when mowing or something I can get by with insect repellent but it's blackberry season and the bugs are incredible. There are millions of them, they chew through clothes (or puncture or whatever it is they do), they bite my eyelids and scalp if that's the only repellent-free area. I don't know why it took me so long to buy this product. I guess I didn't know it existed. One day as I was getting devoured I had the thought, I wonder if they sell bug suits, and voila! Here it is. Bless you, Amazon. As I said, I don't know that I would want to wear this for extended periods. I wouldn't want to go trekking through the jungle with it but I definitely wouldn't want to go trekking through the jungle without it, either. Let's just say the jungle is not high on my list of destinations. I just plan to use it for yardwork and so far, so good!

No need to use bug spray!
Allows you to wear shorts or lightweight pants outdoors in buggy weather. Obviously not super sturdy, so you have to be careful. Mens sizing. Buy your normal size. If you are over 6 ft tall, buy next size up.

I'm Ready for Mosquito Season
I bought the small (I'm 5 ft and <110 pounds), so I worried it would be too big. I wore it outside my of shorts and it was fine. The ties at the waist and ankles have an adjustable elastic cord, so there's no issue with the legs dragging on the ground. The fine mesh partially blocks the breeze, so it is hotter than bare skin. But at the same time, it's easy protection when you're only going to be outside for a brief time or if you're not sure whether mosquitoes will be a problem or not. Although I've found a natural mosquito repellent I like a lot (Liquid Net), I don't always want to take the 10 minutes it takes to fully spray myself and wait for it to dry... especially if we're camping and I've just showered and am only going outside for a few minutes. The mesh also serves as light sun protection if you're caught without sunscreen.Yes, it looks a little weird, but so what? I'm surprised more people don't wear these. I sure could have used them when we went to Collier Seminole State Park in the summer (I know--what were we thinking?) when the mosquitoes almost carried me away! It works, it's lightweight to carry when you're not wearing it, and the price is well worth it (thank you, Coghlan!).I have to mention that the first pair I received had about 4 small holes in it. I submitted a replacement request through Amazon and received the replacement pants very quickly... and no holes! So if that happens to you, don't despair. Now I have to order the Coghlan Bug Jacket to be totally protected.

Bought Both Top AND Bottom for Full Body Protection
I live in the Northeast suburbs. I have an organic garden and don’t spray for bugs. The mosquitoes are always an issue in the summer but this year (2018) they were worse (various news articles on this). I finally bit the bullet and ordered mosquito netting clothing - both this top and the pants. I’m 5’1” and 113 lbs and I bought small in both. They are baggy and loose but that’s for a reason, you don’t want them to be fitted hence potentially allowing mosquitoes access to your skin surface and hence biting you. They work GREAT! Very effective. I actually felt safer from other bugs too and so started wearing them anytime I went outdoors - to work on the garden, to play with the dogs, to cook on the grill. Without these I wouldn’t have been able to do these things this summer. They were a life saverI usually wear a long sleeve cotton shirt and long pants underneath both. Leaving exposed skin opens up the chance a mosquito might find a way to bite you (I found out the hard way). It does get hot in the suit but it’s still the best made item on the street and I highly recommend itThe zipper opening at the neck is ingenious. I personally always stayed zipped up as mosquitoes bite my face as much as anywhere elseDon’t hesitate. Just BUY! I used mine nearly every day until recently (its End of October now). And plan to use all the time next year also. Sturdy and durable so far.

They do what they’re supposed to.
So far so good. No new bites while wearing them. I spray the top and bottom of the pants with bug spray to prevent any intruders.

Highly recommend!
Great product! Mosquitos were thick and swarming at camp…slipped these on over my hiking pants and no bites! They fit large but that’s okay!

Great bug protection
Use these for gardening and bug catching duties for my frogs. Better than using off, which sometimes doesn't work all that well anyway. We have alot of trees and abundance of bugs and it really helps.

Bye Bye hot weather biters
Take that horse and deer flies. Walking along the marsh is fun and bite free in the hot weather with this great netting.

Best Defense Against Mosquitoes
My "go to" item for deterring mosquitoes and horse/deer flies! I'm an avid backcountry camper and would never leave home without this and the top!
