I use these in the kitchen and it's perfect! My sinks have those big knobs from the garbage disposal & this is the only thing that works! And they are super easy to clean!

I put one of these in my bathroom and another in the kitchen sink. My thoughts on each use:1. Bathroom - shower drain: the biggest issue here is that it doesn't catch hair well. I have long hair, and it only really captured half of the hair that I lose. My roommate has short hair and his hair just falls right through this drain filter. We had our shower drain clogged after using this for a month so we've stopped using this and instead use a cheaper one from Daiso which surprisingly works better for us.2. Kitchen - sink drain: again, the holes are large and doesn't capture everything we need it to capture. We don't have a garbage disposal in our sink, and our drain was clogged after using this drain filter.Overall, the drain filters didn't really work for us. I will say though, they were great for staying put! If only the holes were a bit smaller and could function the way as intended, it would be a great product.

Decided to get a hair catcher for the shower drain after we got stuck showering in standing water a few days before we got the clog cleared out. This silicone drain cover helps to collect most of the shedded long hair for easy removal. The suction is strong enough to stay put during showers. However, the slats are horizontal and inevitably, some hair does slip through. If my shower drain didn't already have another protective cover with holes to act as a second barrier layer, some of the hair would probably have slipped through. The silicone also gets scummy and black so it requires intermittent cleaning.

I put one in the bathroom sink and the other in the shower. The one in the shower is working great and staying in place well. The one in the sink keeps popping up, but does not pop up on all four corners and does not hinder the product's use (could be the surface). The hair catches well in the one in the shower but seems to fall through the one in the sink. It could be because the one in the sink has constant water on it and get dry hair rather than wet hair. Overall, I am happy with my purchase!

I really wanted to love these. At first, I thought this was the answer to the hair problem. As the days went by, I could see that the suction was not good at all and the drain cover slid around the bathtub so it did not stay in place (probably because of the material it is made of). Now, the colors and shape of the hair catcher is nice but it would have worked much better if there were small holes and not WIDE vertical or horizontal lines because the hair easily slides through these straight slats and into the drain. If a hair catcher is really working, you should be able to pull it up and pull hair off of it. But with this design, it does NOT catch hair. When you lift it up off of the tub, all the hair is IN THE DRAIN, NOT THE CATCHER. I have to give them credit for trying to create a product that is much needed. I think it would improve the product to do better suction with a different material and use small holes instead of linear slates that are too wide. I am having to buy something else for the bathtub. This was a waste of my money.

These suction to sinks, but the suction isn't super strong. That isn't a huge deal for me, though. Using this in my kitchen is perfect for catching food and I don't have any issues with it. However, using these in my bathroom sink has issues. I think it has to do with what goes down my kitchen sink vs my bathroom sink (soapy water and food bits vs toothpaste, etc). Even if I rinse my bathroom sink well, these still seem to get moldy and scummy every couple of days. I never have problems cleaning the kitchen one, but the bathroom one is harder to clean and keep clean. Bleach seems to do the trick, though, but I wish it could stay cleaner longer and be easier to clean.

I bought these to try out in the shower to catch hair . It works perfectly and saves from having to pull hair from the drain . I also use one in the kitchen sink to keep the trap clean and on the disposal side to keep forks and spoons out of the drain . The suction is still great after using for over a month . They are easy to wash off with soap and water .

This drain catcher works well for things that are too large to slip under the sides; however, since there are only suction cups in the corners, it doesn't stop very small things from getting through and sitting on the edges of the drain when i lift up the catcher. Additionally, while the suction seems to be strong when the i first pushed won the corners, it invariability lifted up and moved by then the end of the day. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the shallowness of the little suction cups, or if they aren't large enough and/or need to be more than just one in each corner. Might be better with additional suction cups between each of the four corners as well.

Does the job. Easy enough to clean compared to some of the wire baskets we've had in the past. Only complaint is that the suction cups aren't as strong as I'd like. If you're dumping water from a pot into the sink, there's a good chance it'll get lifted up and move. Doesn't everytime, but that would be my only complaint. Other than that, it has worked well

These are great you get two in a pack. No more clogging tub drains for us!!! Super easy to clean. Great price a must have for all showers and tubs?!!!!
