Delphi Technologies Ignition Control Module - DS10039

Fixed death after warmup issue. Evidently Big Box brand had poor QC or poorly built. If your Truck Starts and Runs then mysteriously shuts off and then restarts after letting it cool back down look at this! (If you replace ICM replace Coil too). I was all over a Fuel issue but NO! Replaced Fuel Reg, Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Spider Injectiors,Distributor ....checked pressure etc. ( Needed New Injectors anyhow so no big deal on that.)Stick with AC Delco or Delphi brand on this part......fair warning ;-) Interesting note is that during the Winter when I replaced with Big Box brand no problem...wasn't until Intense Southern Heat caused this Issue to manifest itself.....go figure.So far so good. This part on Amazon is lower priced than the Big Box Brand. I got a refund from Big Box.

I was chasing an engine misfire and decided to replace the ICM (I was still using the original OEM ICM). Well after the install the computer immediately threw a code P1351 ICM voltage too high!My original did not throw any codes. I replaced the Delphi with my original and cleared the code and P1351 never returned.Delphi says this ICM fits the 1996 LT4 but it throws a code every time. I even tried another Delphi from NAPA auto and the same thing.If you have a 1996 LT4 engine and need to replace the ICM go with the Borg Warner CBE122. It works fine and does not set any codes.

Bought this for Chevy Silverado 2007 V6 4.3.Amazon does not recognize it to work with Silverado 2007 Classic. But they say it fits 2006 year. The Classic 2007 and "normal" 2006 are the same. I checked other sites for compatibility and they all say it fits for Silverado 2007 Classic and 2006. I believe it should work for silverado1999-2006 plus 2007 Classic. So I bought it.First time I bought it "used Good" the ICM did not work at all. I got a replacement (used good) and it looked different and worked. It seems to me, someone returned the first item I got with his old broken one for credit, ha!BTW, first I purchase an ICM off brand and even so they sad it works for my Silverado Classic 2007, it fixed the "no spark at all problem which meant cranking no start", but it was throwing an Engine light and Code P0351. This item fixed the Code 0351 too.It came with the thermal grease. Well the grease came with the second one I got and not the first.

perfect fit on my 1997 gmc 1500 4.3 2wd pickup. for a long time it wouldnt start up right away, eventually to where it wouldnt start. checked a few things, crank sensor was bad too (250k miles). changed both icm and crankshaft sensor. everything is working great! price was cheaper here than auto parts store and i have a commercial acct with an auto parts store

Like several others have stated, dead on arrival. I screwed myself though as I waited 9+ months to try it. Life intervened, as it sometimes does. Original ACDelco ICM still works but catastrophically stops working when it gets too hot. Cost me two separate AAA tows (first one 45 miles the second 153 miles) in one weekend. Van starts with the original 26-year-old ICM, no start with the brand-new Delphi ICM. Awesome! Sent Delphi an email, doubt I'll ever get a replacement. Oh, and Amazon... WTF are you not shipping these to CA?? This is an exact OEM replacement part, not an upgrade. Gotta love CA laws.

This ignition control module fixed my 96 k1500 suburban. After a long drive on a hot day, I shut my rig off and it would not restart. I ordered this ICM, and my ride was good to go again. Make sure you use all of the grease that comes with it. I would even suggest getting more and using it. Heat is what kills these control modules, and the grease helps insulate it.
