Killing weeds has never been so satisfying!
Very happy with the quality of this torch after trying another brand and it breaking the third time out. This one is solid! Prefer this method over pulling or using harsh chemicals, just be aware of what you are doing! Also, excited to take this camping, should make getting the campfire going effortless!

Easy to carry and use.
After seeing this used in my area I decided to get rid of the dead weeds in my yard. I live in Arizona so with rock as a base this works perfect to eliminate dead and even growing weeds. Built in igniter on the tube works perfect. It’s actually fun to fry the weeds now.

Weed killer economics
I use this product for weed control in my garden & landscape; it is excellent for weed control without the use of chemicals to contaminate the soil. I found that heating the weed until there is a visual wilt - no need to actually burn up the weed to kill it. Care must be taken to avoid fire hazard in the landscape from dried leaves & grass. The overall cost of a bottle of gas is much lower than a bottle of “weed killer” chemical.

Useful for more than just weed burning
I bought product having one use in mind; burning pesky weeds around my property without having to haul around a 20lb propane tank. It’s works great for that, enough heat, direct flame, pretty comfortable to use.Now they say when you have a hammer every problem looks like a nail, I have to say now that I have this cool little torch all sorts of possibility of uses are opening up for me.Campfire starter (suck it Eagle Scouts and your flint and twigs), charcoal grill starter, sous vide meat searer, flame thrower, really the possibilities are only limited by your imagination. Now go, torch!

Burning weeds is not near as quick as spraying them.
Torch does not come with directions so I had to call Sparc and talk to someone. Various writeups keep referring to a trigger but there is no trigger on this. The igniter lights the propane, you turn the control knob as low or as high as you want it and than you use it like that on full power. No burst of flame with a trigger. However, I got nearly 2 hours out of one bottle of propane. Good to use in winter when Roundup won't work or on windy days when spraying goes everywhere. Biggest issue is that the torch sets fire to everything around the weed like leaves or dried grass. I was constantly stamping out little fires that started. However, it is very useful on rock beds or rock ditches where weeds poke through. Very slow going though to burn each weed. MUCH faster to spray but that only works in warm weather.

You need one, or three
Fantastic product. I plan to order a second one to keep with all my camping gear, not only does it absolutely annihilate weeds with fire, i used it to light my firepit, give a bird that fell out of a tree a viking funeral at the local park, i have even used it to burn wood for diy projects. Would 100% recommend to anyone who asks

quality made
I like the smaller opening compared to other torches I've seen, saving weigh and propane in my opinion. There is nothing flimsy about this torch, the tube seems to be one piece and strong. I also like the semi-hard plastic padding compared to the foam padding I've seem. The foam in time will corrode and disintegrate. It fires up the first time every time. After using it everyday for two weeks, I have no complaints. It works great!

Looks like good quality.
Andrew- We have not really used this yet. It looks and feels like better quality than my other one. I like the igniter. I fired it up and burned off a few weeds. I will be burning slash piles in a couple of weeks. I will let you know. Thanks Neil
