Enid Blyton Malory Towers The 12 Books Complete Collection Paperback – January 1, 2019

Silly, I know, but I finally get to read them all! I discovered Enid Blyton's books as a kid visiting my grandmother in Europe one summer back in the '70s, and I was hooked! ("Claudine at St. Claire's" was the first book).Yes, E. Nesbit was and is a favorite also! And then there's Jenny Colgan, who wrote "Mallory Towers for grownups" in her sweet quartet of the School by the Sea. I am very very happy to have these!!! 😁❤📚They're sweet and funny stories of a time gone by, but are also timeless in their depiction of girlhood fun, fancies, and follies.

I'm so enjoying reading this series of books! It would be a great addition to any middle or high school library or for any age for that matter. For Americans, it's an introduction to life in a girls' English boarding school set in England right about the time at the end of World War II. The girls' antics are hilarious, but their relationships are very heart-warming. Thank you for this wonderful series of stories about middle school and high school students.

I loved this series when I was a kid and it was nice to find it again and have a set for myself :)Great series, memories of childhood and they don't write like this anymore - simple and clean...

Growing up, Enid Blyton was a staple for me and I was happy to buy this boxed set. It contains a second set of books by Pamela Cox following the adventures of Felicity Rivers. Finished up the original Blyton ones but starting on the new ones...so far so good...I am not a huge fan of the book covers(the pictures), but that doesn't really bother me...the paper quality is good and it's a great set to add to your bookshelf...

My grandchildren introduced me to the Malory Tower’s movies. I was excited to see they were based on books. My older grandson finished all 12 books and I finished the first six. We both loved them. Both of us laughed out loud while reading multiple times. Wonderful life lessons are also presented. Looking forward to finishing this series and reading more of her books.

My granddaughter in Uganda had read the first two volumes and had requested that I send her volumes three and four. I decided to buy her the entire set ,so that she could lend out the ones that she had already read to the children who live in the boarding school next door to the hospital where her parents are stationed doing volunteer work. She was thrilled with the set.

Excellent books would highly recommend! Only 4 stars because the box/case that they’re in ripped almost immediately when I took the first book out.
