Small speaker and price. Great value.
I'm no audio genius or scientist, but these speakers sound great for their price and size. Would definitely buy again.

Smaller than you think
The photos have you thinking these are a decent size woofer.But they barely measure 2.5 inches.Disappointing in that they took almost a month to arrive,even on prime.And they were terribly packaged.Just thrown loose into a brown envelope.One of the dust caps was pushed in.But I was able to pop it back out.Going to use these in a very small set of extension speakers.They wouldnt suffice for anything more.They do have good xmax for being so small.That leads to decent bass.I will report back when they are finished.Just assembled and tested one.I am amazed.Very nice overall tone,and they can produce a fair amount of volume.No there isnt much bass from a cone so small,but the smooth vocals and crisp treble make up for it.With a small subwoofer,these make a fine little system

Do not look like that, awful!
Got something in the mail that does not resemble the photo.Terrible quality, I mean, just NO. Sound like tin cans at best.

You get what you pay for...
They certainly make sounds, but they're pretty weak on low end frequencies. Music sounds rather tinny, even after installing in a resonator cabinet. I'm no audiophile, though, so maybe that's par for the course with a full-range speaker. That said, they're super cheap, so there's that. I would probably use these for an Arduino project that needs a speaker that can drive more volume or needs better quality than your super cheap 1W 8-ohm speaker. That said, I wouldn't listen to music on these for an extended period of time.

Great sound
They do in fact have a really good sound quality to them. I used them for a home made sound system. Very happy.

Not measuring from the right place.
Didn't even bother hooking them up. Says 3 in, they're like 2 2/3. I didn't buy them because I was expecting amazing sound to come out of them. I bought them cuz I needed a certain size speaker to go in a certain size hole. And baby, don't tell me it's 3 in when it's only like 2 and 1/2. Giggity
