Great size, don’t have to worry about the 1 year old choking. 1 year old and 4 year old have been loving playing with these. I’ve painted with acrylic paint and modge podge. I paid $15.49 for a pack of 50 peg dolls and that seemed like a good deal to me

I wanted to make some Bible characters for my daughter to play with and I am SO happy I purchased these little peg people! Each one came perfectly smooth and shaped identically with all rounded edges. They took regular craft paint and permanent marker without bleeding. The size is great- they fit my two year old's hands but are still large enough that I'm not too worried if they accidentally get picked up by my infant son. For the price, quality, and quantity, you can't beat them! EDIT 7/2025: I have ordered many of these peg people and loved them, but this time the pegs arrived covered in dirt and soft (as if they had been rained on) inside the sealed packaging (see photo). I'm returning and ordering a replacement set. Hopefully the new set will be the quality I've come to count on, but if not, it might be time to find a new peg person supplier! Update: I requested a replacement and the new peg people showed up in perfect condition the very next day! Five stars for a great product and fast replacements with any issues :).

I bought these because it was a big batch of peg dolls for a lower price. There were a couple dolls that had pretty dark flaws/knots in the wood and a couple with random sticky stuff on them. I'd say about 5 in the bunch of 50 weren't really useable because of this. I pretty much expect this when I buy big bunches of dolls, so 5 out of 50 isn't terrible. These pegs have more of a neck than other dolls I've gotten in the past. Not a deal breaker, just something to know. Would have been nice if they'd been a little more uniform, but still a good deal.

These are the lighter pegs in the pictures. I ordered a more expensive brand to see how they compared. These are great! These were not as smooth as the more expensive set, and there was some irregularities to the pegs. One was so chipped it couldn't be used, but for the price I feel that is totally acceptable. They are very easy to paint. Accurate size. There wasn't a big enough difference between this and the nice brand so I will be ordering these from now on. I recommend!

bought a pack of 50 for a Passover diorama, someone had the idea to give them to the children to paint so we can keep them entertained after Seder. Very well made, big size, small children won't feel tempted to put them in their mouths, safe, cute, surely will buy couple more bags for next year. What a great product!
