Simply say, not upto the mark expected. Two bottles with me. Used for two days. Really bought on the ground that, this brand's ubiquinol was effective. But purchase of ALC has become waste of money. Shifted back to the other brand already with me

My personal experience with ALA, it's one the the supplements I use for BS control,along with exercise. The combination works for me...research and try it for yourself.

For me, the best Alpha-Lipoic Acid supplement I've tried. And its really inexpensive, too. Alpha-Lipoic Acid can help w/ peripheral neuropathy, some erectile disfunction, , & some diabetic issues. For me at least, too much causes itching, so when I tried a national brand at 600 mg per dose, I had the itching response. Halving the dose all but eliminated the itch, so I settled on 150 mg as the best dosage *for me*. Anyone interested in taking alpha-lipoic acid should do their own research, & determine for themselves if it may be beneficial. Since its "generally recognized as safe" for most people, the main consideration may be whether or not its worth its cost. Since this product is inexpensive at only 393¢ per gram [or, 6.666¢ per dose], I consider it a good value.

I had been doing some health research, and (now wrongly I think) believed this would make me healthier by helping my body to rid itself of toxins. I - stupidly - not only bought about $30 worth of it for myself (as I recall) - but also the same amount to offer to someone else (a pregnant mother, I am deeply embarrassed to admit). After taking it a few times - but having already questioned the morality of even offering it to someone else, let alone a pregnant mother - something prompted me to open a capsule, put it in water directly, and see what it tasted like. It was SO powerfully ACIDIC! It burned my mouth and throat like you would not believe! There is NO WAY that it could be healthy to put something THAT UNNATURAL into a person's body. At that point, it would have been too late to get a refund. And by then, I had decided it is SO dangerous that I felt morally prohibited from returning it into the supply chain. So I chalked up the $60 or so I had spent on it to an expensive learning experience, and dumped it all in the trash. And my only regret in doing even THAT was that I later realized it wasn't even safe enough to put in the TRASH, to have it end up in a LANDFILL. Yes, I dislike this product THAT MUCH, think it's THAT bad a product. Save your money. Save your HEALTH.

Not sure how this worked for me. I just know after a week of it causing stomach upset/heart burn, I couldn't take it anymore. I am 24 years old and in good physical health and nothing ever seems to bother my stomach. But every time I would take this, with or without food, it caused weird tasting burps and achy stomach.
