I had none of the problems mentioned by other reviews. Well-made product and easy installation.
Review date: August, 20, 2023 -Other reviews mentioned things such as this being a flimsy product and easy to rip or tear it even by hand, and about it being difficult to install. I found neither of those things to be true with the product I received. It was exactly as advertised and pictured. The rubber is heavy duty, supple, easy to work with, and feels durable for the long term. I tried to tear it by hand (as shown in one review with a video) and I couldn't begin to tear it. The quality seems plenty good to last for many years, even here in Wisconsin where we have temperatures as high as 100F above zero in the summer to as low as 35F below zero in the winter.Still other reviewers mentioned that it was difficult to install and that they had a lot of problems. I ordered a 20-foot piece of this product to use on a pair of 9-foot-wide garage doors. I pulled out the old door seals which had seen many, many better days and were in terrible shape, brittle, broken, flattened, missing big chunks, and being at least 25 years old, origin unknown. I then used a broom to sweep the dirt and cobwebs off the bottom of the doors that had been hidden under the old seals. Then, I lubed the T-slots that this product slides into, all the way across the door using a product I had on hand called Fluid Film spray (great, useful product in its own right and available here on Amazon).I was able to replace the seals on both doors in about 30 minutes by myself, including gathering materials before and cleanup after. With one hand, I formed the new seal into a cup-shape (it ships flat and rolled up) and fed it into the door seal mounting slots, and with the other hand I pushed it along the bottom of the door until it reached the other side. I did it all while standing in one spot at one end of the door, and did not utter one cuss word the whole time. Then I used a good shop scissors I have to cut off at the proper length. Easy-peasy! The process of feeding the new seal through the slots took less than five minutes per door.Because of some of the reviews that said installation could be a headache and took them a long, frustrating time, I almost didn't do it today because it was a bit hot outside and I didn't want to get into problems in the heat. But on the spur of the moment this morning I decided to do the installation and it went great. I couldn't have asked for better if I had designed the garage doors and the seal myself. If I notice any undue or early wear on this product that shouldn't be happening I will come back to update this review, but thus far I'm very happy with the product, the installation and how much better the new seals look from both inside and outside of the garage. Much less light comes through compared to the old, worn-out seals, which means more of old man winter will stay outside where he belongs, and we heat our garage to about 60F in the winter, so that is a good thing.TL/DR : Great product. Heavy-duty, easy to work with, easy install went great, and I'm a happy customer.

Install was a breeze!
Before I purchased this weatherstripping I read a bunch of the reviews but I still purchased the weather stripping. I was expecting the worse. Here is my assessment of the product...1) Comes all rolled up and squished, the inner tube is not round: I unrolled it and coaxed into its intended shape by using some tape and giving a few days to relax. It ended up looking true to form.2) It is NOT flimsy and does not tear easily. To me the rubber felt quite robust. I did not worry about about it tearing during installation3) Some lubrication is critical for ease of installation... Heed the recommendation about using Dawn Power wash. It makes installation very easy. Keep a rag around to wipe off your hands because they get slippery also!4) I laid the weather stripping in the sun before installing to soften a bit. With me and one of my helpful pals we installed this thing in about 20 minutes. one feeding the weather stripping into the T slots, the other gently pulling and guiding. It was a 16 ft. door and I had to trim off about 3 inches of excess weatherstripping once installed.5) upon first use my garage door did go back up as if it hit something. I attempted to close it again just pulling down a tiny bit on the garage door to squeeze the new weather stripping against the threshold. I did this two times and left it closed for a couple hours before the weatherstripping yielded a bit and the automatic garagedoor opener did its job properly. No adjustment of setting required on garage door opener motor. This install was a success story and the new weatherstripping looks good and works very nicely.

Great seal! Challenging installation.
Thank God for my wife. If she were not around, I never would have been able to install this on my own. The seal has two T's that slide into two T slots on the seal holder on the bottom of the door. The T's on the seal are a little larger than the slot in the track. In order to install this, you need two people: One to shape, and guide the seal and the T's into the T slots. It can bind up easy, and tear or get damaged, and come out of the slots. I used a jewelers file to take the edges off the T-slots, and I opened them up just a bit to help facilitate installation. The other person applies hefty amounts of silicone lube spray on the seal, and in the slots, then uses their entire body weight to PULL PULL PULL PULL PULL PULL PULL PULL PULL and pull the seal down the 16 foot long track. It is one GIANT pain in the toukas. But after a couple of hours riding the struggle bus, we managed to get it installed. I had to use vice grips to push it to the very end since there was no room for me to pull. Besides the difficulty installing this, it fits perfectly, and seals the door to the floor very well.

Nice Quality. Easy installation.
Here's what I did for an EFFORTLESS installation1. Remove the old one and clean the inside of the tracks with small brush.2. Lube the heck out of the tracks with a silicone lubricant spray. The tracks were was literally dripping from the silicone spray!3. Start from one side and slowly push it inside the tracks. I did a 16 feet garage door in about 5 minutes top!4. Trim to it if too long. Voilà! Done!Don't know why some say it is flimsy or that it readily tears... For sure, if you pull on it like mad, it will tear. Just push it slowly from one side once liberally lubed!

Good Product
A little shorter than 20ft maybe 19.5 Feet. Definitely need silicon spray and a second and preferably third person to install. Takes about 10 minutes to install. Arrives tightly squashed in a roll and appears to be damaged but once installed it’s fine and has a good shape to it. The end lugs are 8mm.I was quoted $750 to install one. This was 1/7 the price including the silicon spray! I’m satisfied.
