This particular bank is the Small version. I have a Large version, too. There is also a Medium version.The large bank typically holds $500 to $600, depending on coins. The small bank holds 1/8 that amount or $60 to $75.Relative volume (v) of the cans is proportional to the cube of any respective linear measurement (l), such as height.v₁/ l₁³ = v₂ / l₂³The purpose of these banks is to encourage you to fill them without raiding them, because you know that opening them will destroy the can. So I will not reveal the secret of sneaking some money out of them.

Coin bank has no way to access/empty the contents when full. You literally would have to cut the canister in half to empty it.There is no lid or plug in the bottom for emptying.

I bought two of these and am happy with them. I don't remember if I knew at the time of the order that it could only be opened by basically destroying it. I wonder if a can open would work, but so far I don't need the contents. I just ordered three more, two as wedding gifts. I will put a fifty, twenty, ten, five, two (if I can find them) and one dollar bills and also a silver dollar (again, if I can find them), fifty, quarter, dime, nickel and a penny. I will also put a note on the can to open carefully as there is paper money inside.The third one is for me.

Although this can be purchased to help kids with learning the importance of saving, I bought this for myself for my $5 Challenge. I started this the beginning of the year. The idea is whenever you receive a $5 bill back, you instantly save it. Do NOT use it for any other reason. At the end of the year, you count up how much you’ve saved and start over, if you choose to. So I bought this bank. Not only is it attractive with the large wrap around $100 bill imprinted on it, especially if you fold it in quarters so more will be able to fit in it. (You technically HAVE to fold it that way because the money slot is small.) Anytime I get cash now, I save the 5s by putting them immediately in this bank. And since you have to actually CUT this bank open in order to get the money, then it makes it easier to save. The only drawback to this bank is that it is super small. These things are super easy to ding and get dents so be careful and not drop them. All in all, I would definitely recommend — BUT please be mindful and PAY ATTENTION TO THE MEASUREMENTS in the description of these, because there are all kinds on here like these, even for the same price range, some bigger and some smaller. ✨😉✨Happy Savings, everyone!!

I really loved this item that I was purchasing for my granddaughter as a birthday gift. I was disappointed due to the fact that item arrived damaged. It had dents all around it.This item is metal, I wished it could have held up better than it did., it would make a perfect gift.I am happy to report that although this item is not returnable, it was refundable.I only gave it 4 stars because it is nice looking bank with beautiful coloring, but it would look better without dents.

I used this product to save money for a rainy day and it actually comes in handy. You can’t see how much you save etc so you’re not tempted to open it. And if you do have to open it for whatever reason a good ole can opener works best.

Definitely taller than I expected! Looks like a different model than in the pics but I’m actually happy that it’s slightly bigger than expected. 🙌 I posted a pic with it next to my hand and a pen. (I have average/small-sized hands)No way to open it, as stated. Maybe if you use a can opener or something.. but you once you open it you cannot reuse it. I love that feature because I won’t be tempted to spend.Highly recommend!
