Strapcode22mm Super-J Louis 316L Stainless Steel Watch Band, straight end universal version

I purchased this bracelet for a Seiko 6309 diver. The Seiko has 22mm between the lugs, and the Strapcode Jubilee fits perfectly. The bracelet width tapers from the 22mm solid end links to an 18mm wide buckle. The end links are sized to accept the 2.5mm “fat” spring bars, which are included. One note: the included bars have tips that are smaller than the lug holes on some vintage Seiko divers. They will work, but will not fit as snugly. The outer links are brushed stainless with polished ends, while the inner links are polished. The buckle has a brushed finish (better to hide the inevitable scuffs), with a foldover clasp and button release. There are three adjustment settings. The links are secured by sturdy screws, and as is my habit I checked and found that all were snug and none were stripped. I ended up taking out two links to fit the bracelet to my 7.5 inch wrist. As an aside, I recommend that after sizing you apply a little low or medium strength thread locker (e.g. Loctite) to the screws.The bracelet is very comfortable, and feels substantial without being overly heavy. Personally I think that the style and weight complement the diver well, but some might prefer the oyster style which I have on a different diver and is reviewed elsewhere. Either way, the bracelet is well made with keen attention to detail. The clasp works smoothly and well. I’ve had no issues with pinching.This is an excellent bracelet at an amazing price. Strapcode makes a wide variety of bracelets and bands so there is certainly one or several that will suit your needs. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another.

Very happy with this watch band. I have an Orient Kamasu that came with a silicon strap that I exchanged for this band, and so far it’s been wonderful. Elevates the look and feel of the watch. Solid links with a two tone matte and chrome jubilee style band. Clasp feels well made. Would absolutely recommend this band!

I was a little skeptical about spending this much on a bracelet for a fairly inexpensive watch (Vostok Amphibia), but it was well worth the money. I loved the style of the factory bracelet, but Vostok bracelets are garbage and the first step in owning any Vostok should be replacing the bracelet with a NATO strap or a nicer bracelet. This was precisely what I wanted. The fit and finish are fantastic. The brushed links have an even, slightly glossy satin finish, and the polished links are bright but not too gaudy, and provide an attractive contrast with the brushed links. The clasp feels solid but is easy to operate, and I have not had any problem with the clasp or bracelet pinching or catching my arm hair. After a couple weeks of wear I have a few small scratches on the clasp, which are to be expected with an active lifestyle and a job that involves a lot of manual work, but the bracelet came in immaculate condition, not so much as a finger print or dust visible under the protective vinyl cling. It has a nice heft, but isn't uncomfortably heavy, and it adjusts easily with a small screwdriver (it is assembled with screws, instead of those annoying press-fit pins like some cheaper bracelets).Two tips for adjusting the bracelet: First, make sure you use a well made precision screwdriver. The screws come fairly tight from the factory, and I damaged the blade of a cheap eyeglass screwdriver I was initially using because I was too lazy to dig out my good tools. Fortunately this didn't do any damage to the bracelet, it just shattered the end of the screwdriver. It would also be a good idea to apply a low-strength thread locker, something like Loctite 222 (aka Loctite purple) which is appropriate for small fasteners, to ensure the screws stay put without having to over-torque them. I'm confident this bracelet will give me a lifetime of use, and going the extra mile when adjusting it is cheap insurance against trouble down the road.Pictures to come, hopefully I will be able to update this review in the next few days.

Nicely made band but has some sharp edges on it. Get the header model same style but heaver and 5he sharp edges are gone

I absolutely love Strapcode's Super J-Louis watch bands. At the moment, I have 2 of the 22mm straight end link versions for a couple of my 22mm lug width watches, and 2 20mm straight end link versions for my 20mm lug width watches. The straight end links ensures that the watch band will work with pretty much any watch, as long as the lug width is correct. While the outer portion of the clasp looks a bit "plain" on this particular model, it actually has a milled clasp, which is very nice. Additionally, it does have a few micro adjust holes, to help get the best fit possible. Comfort is exceptional due to the "J-Louis" links, that lay beautifully on any size wrist. These watch bands use screws to hold the links together, and over the course of 4 years of wearing and sizing these bracelets, I haven't had any issues with the screws. The finishing is very well done, with the brushed portions contrasting nicely with the high polish center links. The only problem with these watch bands, is that they feel so good to wear I want them for every single watch that I own! If you're looking for the best aftermarket watch band to pair with your favorite timepiece, look no further!

This bracelet is amazing. Honestly it’s gorgeous. Nice solid milled links, and stunning surface finish. While you will need a jewelers screwdriver to remove extra links to get that perfect fit, it’s totally worth the extra money. I replaced silicone straps on a seiko diver and it really classed it up and added a ton of comfort. The jubilee style let’s it conform nicely to your wrist, and raven large heavy timepieces will feel comfortable. It’s easily worth twice as much as I paid.
