Life saver for an over worried mom
Never had a false alarm, it's such a relief to know my baby is safe and sound when i'm asleep and can't be watching over him.

Some good ideas but the implementation means it's difficult to recommend
Having used the cam and sock for over a month I now have a pretty clear idea of its pros and cons. I've divided them up by each device.-- The Camera --The camera is, hardware wise, a decent little webcam. The video quality is excellent, the night vision is superb and the audio pickup is nice and clear. The magnetic mounting system is the best feature of it, allowing you to angle the camera however you need from wherever you mount the base. The long USB cable has a fantastic mountable cable tidy which is an ingenious addition for safety! However it's brought down massively by the software side. I usually have to open the app several times for it to show the video feed (issue on Android and iOS). The push to talk feature is difficult to use and the audio output on the camera side is pretty bad.The camera cannot record based on motion or sound triggers, and it can only connect to a 2.4Ghz network - meaning some modern home networks will have to enable an older standard to use it. It also seems to have real trouble with WiFi. My camera is three meters away from my home router and within line of sight and the app still says the connection is "Poor". Also, disconnecting it from one network and putting it on another is a tricky gauntlet of a task that I needed customer support for (more on that below).Practically, I wish we'd opted for a camera system that had a dedicated video monitor. It's not practical - at all - to keep your phone screen on all night just to listen for your baby, and without any audio or movement triggers to record, a dedicated monitor is much better suited to the purpose.-- The Sock --I have no idea how long it would take for the sock to tell me there is an issue with the baby. The manual doesn't tell me and I'm anxious the only way to know if the sock works well is for my baby to have an issue. The sock measures heart rate and oxygen saturation - but only when the baby is still. If they wiggle or you rock them, the sock simply doesn't report back to you until a few seconds after the movement has ended. The fit for the sock is great, and you get multiple sizes for your child to grow into, and so long as your child is completely still the measuring seems to updates ever few seconds. No idea how accurate it is though because I don't have an alternate measure to compare with.Be careful with the charge port on the sock! The port is made of soft plastic which WILL allow you to insert the micro-USB cable the wrong way around and potentially damage the sock.-- The App --Hands down the most frustrating part of the system. It looks pretty but it needs a lot of work. As I mentioned above, I usually need to open it several times to show the video feed. Even then, keeping the app open doesn't guarantee the feed will still be there when your phone display times out and you turn it on again.I had to contact support within the app in order to move the camera to our new home WiFi. But, every time you open the support chat option it starts a brand new chat. This means if you want to try something support staff have suggested (the staff are great though!) and you leave the chat to try something in the app (or change network), you lose your thread and have to start over with somebody new.-- Conclusion --Would I buy this again? No.It's far too expensive for the compromises you have to make. The sock seems like a good purchase on its own just in case for some reason the baby's heart stops and it can notify you in seconds - something I hope to never have to experience. The camera is let down by the app. It's simply unreliable, lacks features and still feels very much like it's in development - which it is. I hope that in the future these features could be added and some bugs can be fixed, but I cannot recommend it at this time.TL;DRBuy the Sock if you think a heart rate monitor can help save your baby from SIDS (no idea if it can), but buy a video monitor with a dedicated screen.

Not working at all after a month of everthing working fine
The sock has stopped connecting to the base completely. My daughter nearly died 2 months ago and this is why I have spent this amount of money on it . Please can someone contact me asap to organise either a refund or a new base station with new sock . . .

Poor product, expensive, poor customer service. Avoid.
This is an extremely expensive piece of kit that had many issues with connectivity and ultimately broke within the first year of using it (actually within 6 months of using it as we were only using it from September 2020 which was the date of birth). When we asked for a refund we were refused, instead only offering to replace it with another one, which we don't want because of the many issues we had with it. In summary, poor product, expensive, terrible customer service. Avoid. We now have the BT one which is great an a quarter of the price.

Shocking camera connection
Please, please do not buy this camera, the app is shocking and will drop out and not connect after 2-3 weeks, constantly trying to connect. Even after restarting it will only connect 2 times out of 10. Much better software and cameras. however the sock is brilliant and will put your mind at ease. Again buy a different separate camera, much cheaper and better on the market.

Not at all worth the outlay.
Quite frankly a gimmick. Alarm goes off at random times, nothing at all is up, putting it in invariably wakes the baby, the light in the room from the bedside table device is a nuisance and invariably my partner who wanted it sleeps through the slam anyways. Not worth the hassle.
