Not Gerri's best work. Peyton is a completely unrelatable character
Not Gerri's best work. Peyton is a completely unrelatable character. The first half of the novel (vacation time) makes complete sense and is totally relatable. The last half of the novel however is a contrived jumble of a mess. The business with Margot is .... .... well it's just there to build angst and anxiety. It's completely unnecessary. Sure we'll put it in there to prove that we can overcome humps in a budding relationship, but it just feels so...it makes Peyton look stupid really, and beyond foolish. That's what makes it seem so unlikely.Logan? Now that's a character I can get behind. She's got her sh!t together. Completely relatable. As far as a romance goes, Gerri's got it right with the two protagonists. It's the whole Margot mess that really detracts from the overall believability. Normally I love Gerri's books, but this is a swing and a miss...

Hill is my favorite romance writer but I found this book a little predictable.
Hill is my favorite romance writer but this one wasn't a 5 star production like all the rest of her books, saying that it still better than half the garbage out there, Logan and the other woman who's name has slipped my mind right now are fun, but a little predictable. They meet on a vacation island for single woman, have hot wild sex but only share first names, no plans for a future. Then they meet again in there home town which they both live in. And trouble ensues.

Great story line...
This was my first book download that wasn't based around Christmas, which was a big leap of faith for me. Luckily, I loved this story. I started reading it and didn't put it down which made for a long day at work the next morning. I believed the characters, believed in their story and wanted to be one of them just to have this story as my life. I would definitely read more from this author. Also, FYI, I do not recommend reading this if it has been a while since you've had some...

Great read
I have mixed feelings about some of Gerri Hill's books but I really, really, really liked this book. It will probably be one the books that I reread inbetween books. The characters were great and very well developed and depicted. Jay and Drew are in this books (I think they were from Rainbow Cedar) which is always cool when characters cross over and you can actually see them in the future if you will. Read it, you will not be disappointed.

Another Gerri Hill must read!!
I think one of the biggest compliments you can give a writer is telling them you miss the characters after you finish the book. You still think about them and wonder where their life is now. That is exactly the way I feel about this book.I have read all (sans one) of Gerri's book and have always enjoyed them. This one and The Cottage are my two favorites.Gerri has a way with words and it continues with this book. Keep writing Gerri. I for one will keep reading!!

She does it again.
I have read numerous books from Gerri Hill and this is yet another one that she nails. Right off the bat you're drawn in to the attraction and chemistry between Logan and Peyton. Gerri knows exactly how to write them. The interaction between them if fun, lighthearted and very lustful. Throw in a dab of jealousy to solidify how the characters feel and you've got me sold. I feel this book has it all.

Gerri Hill as usual, does not disappoint. "The Midnight Moon" introduces us to Peyton and Logan who are two very sweet characters who seem to be unlucky in love when it comes to the women they date. I thoroughly enjoyed the way the story developed and the steamier than usual love scenes may have had something to do with it. Fans of Ms. Hill's work will not be disappointed.

Just lovely
I love Gerri Hill so much. I have read all her books and they never disappoint. This book is no exception. The feel good factor is guaranteed, romance, love, and the good old happy ending. Just what the doctor ordered, served up with a cocktail, a Sun bed, and a nice holiday. Thanks Gerri your book was the topping on the cake during my blue sky beech holiday in Greece.

A lovely read
This is a typical romantic sexy Gerri Hill story. It took me less than a day to read as I couldn't put it down. After a few of Gerri's duds lately, which I couldn't keep interest in, its refreshing to get back to her best. Recommended

I loved it.
I have read most of Gerri Hills books and never once been disappointed. I always enjoy her characters and never knowing how the story will end. This book is no exception, it kept me guessing all the way through. Excellent !
