A revolutionary, near-perfect adhesive bandage.
First let me say that I work as a meat cutter & I have vinyl gloves going on & off my hands all day long. I also wash my hands 30 -40 times in a work day. Regular adhesive bandages get caught on the vinyl gloves and their edges roll up, the bandage gets soiled & looks like hell, and they loosen up quickly when I wash my hands. All of these problems disappear when I use this product, which I have now for 6 months or so prior to this review. I am also prone to getting "finger splits" in cold weather, and these have proved to be invaluable to keeping these covered and promote healing. The adhesive part of the strip is no thicker than a single layer of skin yet has a stronger adhesive that a regular self-stick bandage. It is absolutely waterproof and can be worn for up to 3 days before it needs changing. Because the adhesive membrane is so thin, it actually contours itself INTO the creases of your skin making for a complete, water tight seal. You will waste a few bandages while you get the knack of applying this unique product, but it's worth it.Applying these to most areas of the body is effortless and creates a smooth waterproof seal. It does get tricky around the fingertips, and I find (in my unique situation) that small openings in unsealed creases create openings in the bandage that let water in, requiring me to use 2/day. Still, they serve me well protecting skin splits on my fingertips, reducing pain and speeding up the process of the splits closing and healing. Only when water gets under the bandage does the adhesive loosen on its own.Another bonus is that the bandage doesn't leave adhesive residue on your skin (fingernails will have residue left behind, but it is easily removed). If you're like me, then you hate the sight of dirty adhesive residue left behind by regular adhesive bandages that is difficult to remove. Another nice thing is that the adhesive portion is completely clear so that all that's seen is the beige pad of the bandage.I use these frequently, so I was very happy to find that I can buy a 4-pack of assorted sizes at a great savings over buying a single box of a smaller quantity assortment in a regular store. I sorted them all by size and marked each of 3 boxes so that I can quickly select the size I need without having to sort through an entire package. This also lets me know when I'm getting low on a particular size. My only wish is that these were available to purchase in individual sizes as I use the smallest the most.I believe that this product is a revolutionary to adhesive bandages as Band-Aid brand was when it first came out. An outstanding product that I highly recommend.

These really stick
These are the best "band aids" made. They stay on through showering and work in areas with lots of movement.

Really waterproof
If you are looking for a waterproof bandaid that really stays on then this is the one for you. The only problem is that they stay on so we’ll, that’s it’s hard to get them off!

Does not do the job or clean up after
These might work well if you have a small cut on a flat hair-free non-bending area like a forehead or inner forearm. But for every common cut I’ve tried them on my fingers hands toes and knees they are more trouble than they are worth because:1. They stick well but cannot be easily removed. Or even removed with effort. The glue is stronger than the bandage so they come off in 20-30 pieces if you need to remove them.2. They keep out 99% of water but prevent any leaks from ever drying out 100% so unless you can keep them totally dry when they do come off you’ll have pruned skin like you’ve been in a bathtub for a week.3. They are mostly clear so they blend with many skin tones and are less obvious. But when you need to remove one and it’s ripping in tiny shreds you can’t see the pieces left on your skin unless you shine a bright light on it and look for the sheen. Or you can furiously rub all around the wound and hope to get it by chance before you start bleeding again. Or try acetone. That feels good on a fresh cut.4. They are so thin they flex with your body well, but it also means they will often get folded on themselves when applying, like kitchen plastic wrap but covered in glue, so you can either discard it and waste them or live with the imperfect seal and never touch water or they will leak.5. Only the largest ones have enough absorbent wound coverage to handle antibiotic ointment without it leaking out and breaking the surrounding seal. And the variety packs are biased to have way more small ones than medium or large. Might be useful if you mainly encounter sewing needle injuries or need regular injections and also have a clotting issue or platelet deficiency. When these first came out years ago I used to like these but something changed either in glue or materials or thickness or maybe just bad luck but they are no longer practical for me.

Great product!
Nexcare did a good job with these bandages. Having struggled with some other brands, I have these a try and I am quite impressed. For one thing, the innovative design makes these bandages much easier to apply. The paper strips around the edges really work well. The clear plastic around the pad makes it easy to see and position that correctly. And finally, the strong adhesive and waterproof design make these bandages wear well. A good product all around and they seem to be fairly priced as well.In this assorted 50 pack you get 15 large, 15 medium and 20 small "spot" bandages. The small ones are very small and would only cover a small nick or 'spot' as described. The "medium" are what I would call average size (1 1/16" x 2 1/4") and the large are slightly bigger (1 1/4" and 2 1/2") although the pad is much bigger on the larger bandage.I gave these a shot on a lark and I am very glad I did. Recommended!Update 2011-08-26: I came back and dropped my rating to 4 stars on these. I find after using these awhile that they do not "breathe" as well as some others and this can be a problem sometimes. Wounds need air to heal. Not liking these as much as I did initially, but still good for some things as they are water-proof.

Best bandage on the market
Have used for decades. Less noticable when in use. Really do stick in water. Keep what is under the bandage dry.
