Just replaced the PreMax filter for the first time. It was pretty easy after watching the video. It fits well, works well. After the reset, it showed 9,152 hours of life. We run the unit 24/7 at speed 2 or 3, so that’s about 381 days. That timing was about right, the filter warning came on over a year after our purchase. Our old filter didn’t look as dirty as the ones others showed here, so maybe we replaced it a little early? Didn’t want to take a chance, so we still replaced it. These filters are a bit pricey, but for perspective, we replace our AC filter (MERV 8) every two months, so those actually cost more than this one. It’s still cheaper to replace filters regularly than to fix any motor. Overall, since this filter lasts a year, it comes out to about $6.25 per month, which feels pretty reasonable for clean air all year round. The only problem with ordering is the subscription max option is 6 months. Why isn’t there a 12-month or 18-month option?

Love IQ Air. Wish the filters were less expensive but you get what you pay for.

Exactly what was needed

The filter arrived quickly and was easy to replace. I have had my IQAir air purifiers for many years and they perform perfectly providing me with a clean and healthy environment. Many of my family and friends have been so impressed they too have purchased the IQAir for their homes.

We've been using the IQ Air Health Pro for several years now and really like the system. The replacement filters are definitely expensive. The PreMax pre Filter always has a much shorter longevity in terms of hours than the other IQ Health Pro filter components, which is a concern. However the OEM is still worth it. Used Health Pro for addressing reduced air quality due to wild fires and much more.
