STRAP BROKE WITHIN THE FIRST FEW USES
THEY WORK GOOD FOR PROTECTING SKIS AND GARAGE FLOORS. ONE STRAP BROKE RIGHT AWAY

Work great, easy to put on/take off
I just bought a enclosed aluminum utility trailer that I also use to haul my snowmobile in. I contemplated a couple different things to put on the floor to protect it from the carbides and studs of my snowmobile. The ski guides and mats just seem way too expensive and way too much clutter on the floor, hard to walk in the trailer when you’re using it for other purposes, or falling from snowy slippery ski guides in the winter. I decided to carpet the floor and the ramp/door with inexpensive indoor/outdoor carpeting. It’s looks great and works great, but I didn’t want to snag and tear it with ski carbides. I bought these ski skins and love them. I slipped them on backwards, backed the sled in the trailer really easily. Slipped them off and put them on the front of skis in a few seconds, ready to drive out, then strapped the sled down. I kept them on until I ran the sled into the garage at the cabin. They work awesome, straps seems very sturdy, as does the skin material.

fine concept, poor implementation
I just bought a Ski-Doo Expedition that comes standard with the Pilot DS-3 skis. I have an aluminum utility trailer that I would like to use to transport the snowmobile. I thought these slip covers would be a good way to get the sled on the aluminum trailer without the carbides cutting the trailer all up. The straps on these covers aren't even close to fitting over the handle on the end of the ski. I thought about modifying them, cutting the straps off and putting my own nylon webbing with a buckle on them... but why spend $100 and then a few hours modifying them? Decided just to mount some wood on the trailer; I was just being lazy and thought this solution would help.

Serves it’s purpose
Works well going forward, trying to reverse them (or the sled) isn’t as user friendly.

Floor proctection
They stay on my Yamaha single keel skis just fine. Thesy were much cheaper and easier than ski guides to protect the floor of my trailer.

Great product!
Great product!! Work as advertised. I have an aluminum trailer so these make loading and unloading my sled a breeze.
