These pills help keep me regular! I know I don't eat enough fiber in my diet, so I got these to help me to get the fiber I need. They work great!

Being well into my senior years I have been taking fiber supplements along with my regular medication and other vitamin and mineral supplements. I recently ran out of the regular fiber brand of fiber I usually use and decided to try this product (Swanson Tri-Fiber Complex, 100 capsules-sold by Swanson Health Products) which I purchased on Amazon for a bargain price. I was very pleased with the quick service receiving this product in one day after ordering it. One of the reasons I decided to purchase this Swanson brand was that it had 3 different fiber types in the pills and wanted to determine if it made a difference. Fiber helps keep your inerds working right, those of us that have had problems with regularity know how good it is to not have to think about what is going on inside. Proper fiber intake is part of any healthy diet; you really should get it from salads, veggies, soy products etc. Supplements like this are just a little extra help, first started using these when I was sick, they helped to settle my digestive track down and help me back to good health I like that these are Tri-fiber capsules, some brands get their fiber from only one source, these are a little more complete with fiber coming from 3 different natural sources. Some people who have tried fiber tabs in the past haven't liked them or have had a bad reaction. For some people the reason may be because the tabs they used were single source, not a well balanced product, try these instead. Other people that have had problems with fiber tabs are probably because they started out taking too many, start slow, one tablet a day with lunch, after a week take one with lunch and one with dinner, you get the idea. When you were little mom told you "too much of a good thing is bad for you" you didn't believe her until the first time you "ate the whole thing". Same thing applies here, start slow don't overdo it. I bought another brand in the store that turned out to be big old horse pills had to throw them out; these are a more standard size, easy to swallow. If you have health concerns, or are just looking to add a quality product to your over all diet I would recommend this product
