The Club UTL800 Utility Lock, 13.25"-20.25", Yellow

This is a great lock for my purpose. As all locks can be defeated, it's important to understand some level of context. If you let a criminal have enough time at anything, any security system can be defeated. If a criminal knows enough about a type of locking method, any lock can be defeated. For high value protection, I would advise using multiple methods (as opposed to a single method such as just solely utilizing this lock) to secure your property. That being said, this is a good sturdy lock that is a great supplement to my existing locking system. I use it to lock down my generator for my travel trailer so it doesn't develop legs when I have to leave. It's sturdy and it's ability to size accordingly is great. It prevents someone from getting leverage if it's loose. My advice is to get a size that can be sized down as much as possible. This means that the least amount of extension the better. Get one that fits accordingly. This avoids exposing the narrowest part of the lock. If what you're locking is highly valuable (expensive generator, motorcycle, etc), consider buying two, as a criminal may think twice dealing with two of these locks in one go. That being said, I still stand by the idea of utilizing multiple methods. In this example, I also use a cable/chain/padlock, and use this lock to secure my generator to the frame of my trailer. Overall, I like the ability to adjust the size, the robust build, the rubber outer coating to avoid nicks and scratchs, and the type of lock/key they use for this product. I would recommend.

Very heavy duty but it was close to me returning. Reason I’m not sure if my folded down windshield is higher than others, but looping around top of steering wheel and around front post I just had enough to lock it. That was at 20.5”, bottom line is I’m happy, a little pricey but it’s very heavy duty, definitely a theft deterrent.😊

ok if you want a bike lock that'll cover your tire, rim and the item to which you're securing your bike, this is the ticket. Yes it's heavy. It's meant to deter a thief and it has to be robust. Overall, however, it works fantastically and I ordered 2! I would highly recommend this lock and am quite sure a thief would simply pass up the bike secured with this lock to find another victim. When my wife and I ride our bikes, I found I can use 1 of these to lock both our bikes frames and back tires to the pole or bike rack. I carry it in my backpack and use it when necessary. Interesting note... The size of the lock is actually helpful when in my backpack. It doesn't jostle around and I can put other things inside the gap in the frame of the lock. Works great. Spend the money and get a quality lock and I highly recommend this model. It even came with 4 keys! To the guy who wrote a review saying his key worked on another lock... I tested the key on the opposite lock I purchased and it didn't work so just know you won't have to worry about some master key scenario. Happy to answer any questions about functionality, etc.

This is the best golf cart lock. It’s easy to lock & unlock with a key. I only gave it 4 stars because the video states it comes with four keys. The truth is, it only comes with 3 keys. But otherwise, it’s a super nice way to secure your golf cart.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Easy to use, heavy duty, fits on our new golf cart very well. This is a very good product.

I live in a seniors community where many residents enjoy the use of a golf cart on our golf course, to travel the community and go to local businesses to shop. I purchased a Club golf cart and needed something to lock it when I ventured out shopping. I read several of the reviews for the regular Club for golf carts and it didn't really sound like it was completely satisfactory for many purchasers. Then I saw this lock and knew it was exactly what I needed. It arrived today and I have to say it is PERFECT for what I want. It attached through the steering wheel and around the front windshield metal brace. It is STRONG. It is a bit heavy but that is what I would expect for something to work. Such a simple design yet it appears to be extremely effective. Very pleased so far. Will know after using it a while.

I’ve been looking for this item for months, not realizing that Winner was in front of the “ The Club Utility XL Name. ” I immediately purchased it and couldn’t be happier as it’s used to lock the steering wheel on our golf cart . Thieves now have to look elsewhere .

I love this club. I had to drop a little oil into the cylinder after the rain (parts got a little stiff inside), but that's OK. Rain gets into most locks left outside, so putting in a few drops of oil is fine. The shafts are very thick compared to regular D-Bolt type locks, and the range of expansion/contraction is an added bonus. I think it's six inches width on the inside (from shaft to shaft), and it can lengthen to about 11 inches or so. Good money spent.
