easy to assemble, fits my 6' body, all tools included, great workout bike!
Over the holiday's I noticed my pants shrank in the dryer and so did most of my shirts..I work 7am until 6pm and there is no way I have anytime to go to a gym,or the money, and it has been -5 here/but I wanted to get a bit of exercise. I usually ride my bike around a local park and that is 9 miles in a circle with hills! So I thought a stationary bike! after research I bought this one. I didn't know what the flywheel weight meant, I couldn't find any real info on what size would be best...so after hours of searching I bought this bike. The price was nice and it had a computer that I mostly wanted for a way of keeping track of miles I've gone and mph. Well the bike arrived,it comes in a long narrow box....it took me almost an hour un-boxing! and about 30 minutes putting together. Very easy to put together/comes with all the tools you'll need. Please note there is a tube on the back of the frame installed for shipping that you remove and toss out with the holding bolts... Once I assembled I quickly tried it out and was very happy! I have seen questions of "will I fit on this" well I wear a 38 waist/32 long pants. I have the seat half way adjusted and it is almost too tall/but feels perfect! And now the flywheel thingy..this is a 40lb flywheel....it takes momentum to start and gives constant force up and down! As I stated I road a 9 mile park most every day in the summer, but on this because of the 40lb flywheel I have been doing 1 mile the first day,and work my way up to 3 miles in a week!! I thought I was way out of shape because 1 mile? So I got out my real bike and realized it wasn't as hard to peddle and I coasted a lot of the time...on the real bike I road 4-5 miles and wasn't tired.....because I wasn't "working it!" So I went back to this stationary bike and tried again the next day...it was a bit of a workout/but thats why I bought it! If you're a workout junkie or a long hauler hard core, this bike is for you! Very well constructed, feels very nice and sturdy, displays mph and miles, and other items on the display I don't bother with..The handle bars look weird/as if it will be uncomfortable.....but believe me,with these handle bars,by leaning forward it relieves stress off your back. This doesn't have a "coast" feature...it constantly moves until you slow down, which I like because...... It's a workout! If you just starting out wanting a stationary bike or have health issues I would suggest a smaller flywheel weight like 25lb or so. But if you are looking for a bike that is going to work you, this is it. It is very quiet! I have a 29" mountain bike, this set up is the same/can be adjusted smaller or taller to fit everyone. Says it has a 300lb capacity.. I am almost at capacity/ for the moment at 6' tall....as I re-read this I would also like to note: The handle bars when assembling have a square plastic insert...I was assembling in my garage at 10 degrees! Inside the frame this plastic on my bike was not square and I had to heat to soften the plastic before I could insert the handle bars.if you are assembling in doors warmer, perhaps you could use a bit of baby powder or very small amount of vaseline to slightly lube the handle bars for insertion..

I like it, but...see end of review for updates
I purchased the bike 10 days ago. I was looking for a reasonably priced indoor cycle and found this for sale at Walmart for $200+. I saved $20 by purchasing through Amazon. It actually arrived a day earlier than expected. It is heavy so it may be best to have someone on hand to help you bring it inside or up/downstairs.Unpacking the unit was simple. Assembly was also simple; it took about 90 minutes, but I was not in a hurry and took my time. Instructions were clear. The assembly hardware came on a card that separated the various nuts, washers and bolts by the step in the assembly process which made assembly even easier than usual.Adjusting the bike to fit me was easy enough. It is very stable for me when riding at any speed (225 lbs at 5-10). It feels as if it should last for some time. The one drawback to this bike is the computer/monitoring unit. It does a fine job of tracking speed, time, distance. Where it comes up short is the RPMs. Spinning exercise is based on cadence (among other things). Cadences from 60-110 RPMs are recommended. The RPM readout consistently reads quite high when compared to my manually counted cadence (determined by counting the number of times my knee touches my hand for 15 secs, then multiplying by 4). For instance, a cranking cadence of 80 is displayed as around 255-260. This is an issue the manufacturer should resolve as soon as possible. Spinners do not need to know how fast the flywheel is spinning; they need to know how fast their legs are moving. A fairly simple re-coding of the firmware for the monitor/computer should resolve this issue. One addition to the unit in the future would be a guide of some sort to give the rider an idea as to how much resistance is being used. Currently the rider is left with going by feel with no way to really determine if today's ride is at the same resistance as yesterday's.UPDATE 09/27/17I contacted customer service on 09/25 and reported the issue. They have informed me this is an issue with the console and will replace it. After I provided them with the appropriate documentation assured me a replacement would be sent as soon as available. I am waiting patiently. 4 star rating stands until such time as a correctly functioning console arrives.UPDATE 10/03/2017I was hoping to post better news but, alas, such is not the case. The console/computer/monitor or what ever you want to call it does the same thing as the one it replaced - tracks the RPMs of the wheel, not the pedals/crank. If you are looking to use this as a spinning bike, you'll need to either purchase something else that will count your cadence or, as I have done, compute the difference between the wheel RPMs and the crank RPMs. Because I'm nice, I'll share what I have figured for cadence/target RPMs as they will appear on the console:Crank Cadence Console RPMs60 19565 21170 22875 24480 26085 27690 29395 309100 325105 341110 357I have this data in a spreadsheet table next to my cycle for reference during workouts. The ratio between the wheel RPMs/crank RPMs is 3.25 to 1, so if none of the cadences indicated above suits your preference, take your preferred cadence, multiply it by 3.25 and you'll have the RPMs you need to target on the console reading.Knocking my rating down one star to 3. Customer service was responsive, but apparently did not understand or thoroughly read through the problem as is indicated by sending me a console that is the same as what came with the cycle.EDIT 2: 03/18/2020 I've been trying for the past 3 weeks to get someone in customer service to sell me a new seat mount. I've placed two different orders/submitted two different tickets (the 2nd referencing the first) yet have no order placed. Can't get anyone to answer the phone.Product itself is not too bad; customer service in this instance really sucks. I can't recommend anyone purchase this item due to the poor contact they have with their customers.

Although I love running, it has been hurting my joints
I wanted a lower impact workout. Although I love running, it has been hurting my joints. So I thought cycling would do the job, since I used to cycle outdoors and I got great results shaping my body! When I started searching for indoor cycles all the reviews helped a lot so I ended up with this one.Shipping was extremely fast! I ordered it on a Sunday and it was delivered by Wednesday noon, when it wasn't supposed to be delivered for another 10 days. So I was very happy with that. The box was very heavy so if you can, have someone help you carry it inside your home. The bike works great, it is very sturdy, it doesn't bounce or moves but some parts should be made out of steel and not plastic. It took like an hour or so for assembly. Some of my parts looked different, than on the manual and it looked like someone may have previously owned this bike and altered it or it was displayed, or started the assembly but returned it. Not sure which one, but it didn't bother me because it didn't change the outcome. The bike has a few chipped paint here and there and a little dent on the base, but despite these flaws it still looked brand new. Once I figured out how to put everything together I was very pleased. The seat is very hard and took me a few rides to get used to it. I'm not sure how accurate the pulse and calories burnt reader are, but I love the computer. The scan function displays everything in rotation: the speed, distance, pulse (if you have your hands on the handlebars), RPM, calories burnt and time spent cycling. That comes handy keeping track of your workout. I love the flywheel, it is definitely needed to get better results. Overall, for the price it was sold and being delivered as fast as it was this is for sure a great buy!

Awesome indoor bike
I'm loving this bike after the past year +. It was a little involved for my mechanically inclined hubby to build, I couldn't have done it. I love that it feels in almost every way like a real bicycle and that I can sit or stand to pedal. The tension knob is very easy to adjust on the fly for hills, etc. The seat was pure torture so I immediately bought a nice padded cover which helped immensely. I am short and fat and this bike is easy to adjust for my height (5'1") and size and looks easy to adjust both the seat height and distance from handlebars for taller people to share (so far no one else in my family has). The only learning curve if you're used to a regular bike is not being able to stop pedaling and just coast - I almost seriously injured my ankle before remembering, lol! The delivery was absolutely horrible and I spent ages on the phone, chasing after the logistics company trying to speak with someone and get it delivered weeks late. I presume Amazon isn't using that company any longer though. This bike was a great investment and value for the money.

Great work out bike if you don't like features.
I have had this bike for 2 years now. Thanks to this bike my brother lost over 40 lbs! he worked out on this bike for 1 hour each day for a full year. I have also put on a lot of hours on this bike. Like most pieces of equipment there were breakdowns. I had to replace the pedals and the bearing inside the bike. To remove the bearings inside the bike was a long process as they are pressed inside a tube. I did a lot of maintenance on this bike to keep it going over the years. The build quality is great and simple just like a real bike. but on the down side the built in computer is a piece of crap. I would not get this if your counting calories or distance. I just timed my self and that worked out well. The flywheel can get loud so if music is playing in the background it can be hard to hear it. If your working up a real sweat on it and lean to far on the front, sweat can get on the flywheel and make it harder to bike so I just put a cover over the hand grips.summaryPROS-Great Build Quality.-Last a lot longer than a high tech bike with no chains.-Parts can be replaced with a bit of work.-Adjustable seat and arm rest.-Water bottle holder.-Good Price as other models can be thousands of dollars.-Adjustable Friction pad to adjust biking levels.-If your just focusing on time this is the bike for you.CONS-Computer is a piece of crap.-Flywheel can be loud.-no cover over the arm rest so sweat can drip onto the flywheel making it difficult to bike can be fixed by a book or a piece of wood.

Great bike, but...
Very nice training bike for the price I paid. Took me a good 40 minutes to assemble, but I didn't have any problem. Everything fit where it was supposed to fit! The assembly instructions were very clear. The only thing that disappoints me is the seat. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! Way too hard and narrow. I used the bike for 10 minutes, than I had to step down because the pain was too much.I ordered a silicone seat cover that should fix that flaw....if it doesn't, I'll try a larger seat! With the exception of the seat, I really like the bike

best bike ive owned, and you wont find better at this price i think.
The good:Looks sexy!Very sturdyLooks like i paid double for itvery adjustablehigh weight limit (if thats important for you)Came 90% assembled (just put on seat, peddles, handle bars, the bars for the legs)Adjust-ability actually works as intended. The bad:The wheels suck, but you wont move it often im sure.Doesnt fold up or store, it is, what it is.The peddles seats are small but the peddle itself is a good size, i ride with them upside down (size 11 male shoe)The ugly:While wet, the wheel tension goes up (Sweat) i have to lower it mid workoutCame with a nice piece of blue trim broken off (1 inch or so) but its only trimthe seat is worse then sitting on a rock, ive had hard seats before but this one is bad.why are the handle bars so far forward, im 5'8 and have to stretch right out pretty nastily to even touch the monitor leadsthe computer is only seated into a grove, a bump will dislodge itthe computer is CRAP - but it does work and is accurate as far as i can tell. The bike is probably 120lbs...(it probably has to be, to get its 300lb user weight rating though)-- the bike was so heavy the UPS guy couldnt get it into the house (4 stairs in); without my help and some sweat.Id buy this again though, its a fantastic bike.

Great bike for a great price
I've had this for a few months now. I wanted to wait and see how it was before making an honest review. This bike is awesome. However I would give it a 4.5 star rating if I could only because I am 5'4 and can't fully feel comfortable reaching all the way to the silver spots on the handles. But that is not the bike it's me so it gets a 5 star. It is quiet and as cheap as the little plastic reader may be. It does the job just fine. I really enjoy it and my husband does too and he's 6' it works for us both.
