I ordered this device after having to request a home service call on my sports car. The problem is that the vehicle is what we like to call a week-end car. Sometimes it may sit around for several weeks and with the background accessories continually draining the battery it'll need a jump. That's where the Booster Pac comes in. The auto service tech that jumped my battery had one of these and he swears by them. It may be overkill for my vehicles but for the price, reliability, compactness and convenience it's hard to beat. Charging is simple and, if you sign up on the manufacturer's website, they'll send a quarterly reminder e-mail to recharge the unit. Peace of mind can be hard to come by but at this price it's most affordable.

Tried to use a few time in winter, it works great.

We are a car hauling company with 20+ trucks and every truck has one of these jumper boxes drivers use them to start dead cars or we even use them on inoperable manual cars by putting it on the battery putting car in gear and using the starter to drive up the trailer. And these boxes have enough power to make it all the way up the trailers multiple times before needing a charge.

For use if battery drains. Most important, bought $22 adaptor to plug in my single serve crock pot. Have hot lunch in my car at work in winter. Soups, casserole steak tips. This has many uses. Love it.

Used it today!!! Incredible. Started my car quicker and better than a normal fully charged battery. BEST INVESTMENT EVER!Can't wait to use it (in all honesty, hoping I don't have to use it) but I'm excited and relieved to have this Booster in the trunk of my car! I have been using this type of jumper for years and I am verry happy with the results. It will start pretty much anything with a dead battery. Highly recommended. The battery will last about 2 years when properly charged with the charger provided.
