Love these!
I love lingonberries and always used to buy Felix brand jars whenever I could find them. When I saw the huge tub of Roland brand sugared lingonberries here on amazon I had to give them a try. When they arrived we gave them a taste and they were perfect, just like I remember having in Sweden! Just as good if not better than Felix brand, more of a fresh taste.I divied up the huge tub into smaller food storage containers and put one in the fridge and the rest in the freezer. The tub they come in is huge and wouldn't really fit into a regular fridge unless you have an almost empty fridge. They seem to last forever in the fridge and the kids and I love having them on waffles with whipped cream. They are also great on scones, biscuits, pancakes, etc. and add a nice variety to the jam/preserves you can serve with breakfasts. They are a little tart, which I love, but they reminded my husband too much of cranberry sauce which he is not a fan of. Will keep ordering, so nice to have these available when lingonberries are hard to find locally.

Tasty berries great on toast.
I was watching the Dr. Oz show and he recommended eating Lingonberries for health reasons. So being into staying healthy I ordered some. I was surprised that they weren't just berries but a mixture of berries and a clear sugary substance. It's a lot like buying preserves but wetter. They tasted tart but not too tart. I wasn't sure how to use them since they weren't just berries you could pop into your mouth so my husband and I decided to add them to a lightly buttered roll. Very good indeed. We have eaten about half of the 11 pounds and I must say they have stayed fresh in the refrigerator. We both just had our yearly physical and we both have good health with slightly elevated cholestrol. I can't say that the Ligonberries have actually increased the quality of my health but I'm going to believe Dr. Oz and continue eating the rest of our order. After we finish the 11 pounds I will go without for a while and see if there is a noticeable difference. If I don't feel as good as I did when eating the Lingonberries I will order more; if I don't see a difference I probably won't purchase again unless I get to missing the taste. I'll try to update later if I remember to (it's not helping the forgetfulness :)

Yummy!
Yummy. Lingonberries can be used as a side dish either pork or beef. They are also great on pancakes or on desserts. Simply delicious Wild berries from the Nordic forests.

Damaged shipment
I read the reviews before ordering this product and one of them mentioned never receiving order because shipment was damaged by shipper. I ordered this product anyway for my son and was excited when I was notified order would be delivered sooner than expected. A few days before the order was to be delivered I received an email notifying me that the order was damaged in shipment. I'm not sure if the original shipper damaged the item because it wasn't packaged well or if it was damaged when it got to the shipper in the U.S. Fortunately this was ordered through Amazon.com and I received a prompt and hassle free refund. I thought about trying to reorder this product but I will try to find a local vendor to minimize multiple shipping carriers.

What a surprise!
I thought I was ordering a nice large pail of lingonberries as characterized in the description and instead I've received a very large pail of JAM. Apparently I should have read the very SMALL print on the actual picture which is the ONLY place that a 'sauce' is mentioned. If I'd have wanted the extra sugar and processing of jam, I'd have ordered jam. I'm looking for the health benefits of the lingonberry, not yet another way to add sugar to my daily diet.On a positive note, the 'jam' is very good, very very sweet but very tasty. The packaging was extraordinary and arrived overnight service. I'm sure that we will make our way through the tub ...eventually, but I REALLY do want to source some actual berries. Maybe I can add them to the jam so it won't be so sweet. /: |

Best lingonberry jam I've had in ages
We are Swedes in the US. WE EAT A LOT OF LINGONBERRY JAM. Like a lot! When I ran out of my last little glass jar and started realizing how I was paying 90 cents an ounce foe the other brands, I figured I should get a bulk bucket and portion it into freezer bags to last for months. This comes in around $0.30 per ounce. Totally worth the effort to portion out smaller bags and freezing for the savings!

Excellent
As soon as I heard the health benefits on Dr. Oz I went right to my laptop to order. I purchased the 11 pound bucket {Rolands}which was an excellent buy. When it came I thought OMG it's such a big bucket! Well soon as I tasted it I fell in love with lingonberries.I took ordinary Premium crackers spread a little cream cheese and half a spoon of the lingonberries on top. Once you taste it you wanna have more and more. Love the flavor and the cream cheese was great with it. I had to fill a jar with some and not have to keep taking the bucket out of the refrigerator. Can't wait to taste this with chicken and pork etc. I live at the NJ shore near the big cranberry bogs. But I am enjoying the lingonberries as they are much more delicious and I get all the added antioxidants which is important to me as a cancer survivor.I have been recommending it to my friends.P.S. As I expected, by the time I am writing the review this item is sold out!!!!Hope it's back by the time I want more!
