Quality product
Getting back into cosplay recently and needed a good white foundation. Saw this was super recommended but still a little skeptical. I’m glad I still went through with the purchase because it’s amazing. Super easy to apply and build up on!! Great coverage and dries really smooth not sticky ! Easy to blend other colors on (the eyeliner was a bit tricky but I managed). Excited to do more looks with this ! Also it has little to no smell which is awesome e

juggalo approved
Hi! As you can figure, I purchased this for juggalo makeup. Application was very easy, I used a beauty blender, and a little paint goes A LONG way! These pictures include one coat, which is perfectly bright and noticeable. With setting powder, it does NOT come off when you touch it—only thing I’d recommend is applying it after changing into your planned clothes, otherwise you’ll smudge it onto the clothes lol. It survived the rain and humidity outside, along with me itching my face several times. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to look for something sturdy and long-lasting.

HOW TO USE CLOWN WHITE
The negative comments for Mehron Clown White all say much the same things: "It stayed sticky and made a mess! It looked blotchy on my skin!" These problems arose due to the users' ignorance, NOT because of some flaw in the product. So, as a public service, here is how to use clown white.1. Start with a freshly washed face, free of makeup, oils, and grime.2. Use two or three fingers to scoop approximately a teaspoon of clown white out of the container. Place this "blob" of makeup in the palm of the other hand, and use those same two fingers to swirl the makeup around in the palm, thus warming it. Alternatively, warm the makeup using both palms.3. Using two or three fingers (or both palms), cover the face, ears, and neck with clown white as evenly as possible. If skin tone shows through, you have used too little. If the makeup seems thick, you have used too much. Add more makeup to your palm if necessary.4. Here's the trick to creating a smooth clown white makeup: Pat your face with three fingers or the palms of your hands to even out the color. Doing so will remove streaks and blotches.5. Optional: Using a Q-Tip wet on the tongue, remove clown white from any areas that will receive red or black makeup. The mouth and (new) eyebrows are the two most common areas.6. To set the makeup and remove all stickiness, you must use powder. I recommend baby powder, which is simply pure talc. Do NOT use any powder that contains corn starch! Others may prefer to use a pure white theatrical powder, but it is more expensive. To apply, use the largest velour powder puff you can buy. Coat the puff generously with powder and apply to the makeup. You can't use too much powder! When you think you've powdered sufficiently, check for any wet spots with your fingers and powder those spots. Let the powder sit for up to five minutes, giving it time to absorb the clown white's grease. Then, brush off excess powder with the puff, a shaving brush, or a powder brush.7. Using a sable brush, apply the colored makeup in the areas you "cut out" previously. Powder as before. When brushing off excess powder, brush from the white into the colored areas to be sure no color makes its way into the white. For additional information, see Strutter's Complete Guide to Clown Makeup. Also, there are a few excellent YouTube videos demonstrating the proper way to apply clown makeup. Check them out!I hope these guidelines will help you avoid the mistakes others have made. Mehron Clown White is a superior product that you can use with confidence--once you know how!

Long lasting clown white
This is a huge container of clown white. I got this for a Haunted House that I was doing makeup for, and it worked like a charm. I made people up like zombies, so this was obviously for bringing out the bone/skeletal structure. (For the black, I used black eye shadow, since creams can reflect, even if they're a dark color). On the hands, I applied it lightly along where the bones should display, and then applied the black eye shadow, and blended, for more skeletal effects on the hands. (Not that any of the guests noticed it – by the time they got to the zombie room, they were all running – lol!)This held up very well. I applied it to the actors before sunset, and it was still in excellent shape at midnight, when we finished up. I was not looking for an opaque white for this, just whitened, but in a darkened house, the effect was quite striking. For an opaque white, I'd want a primer on underneath. It removes fairly easily with standard makeup remover wipes, followed by soap and water.I would definitely buy this again, although I've got so much left that I don't think I'll need to for quite some time! :-)

Very good coverage, long lasting, and fairly easy to remove!
I bought this product for a Halloween costume. My husband was IT the clown and I was really a fan of the product. Last year, he was the joker and I purchased a similar product and didn’t have the same experience, it was chalky and not buildable. It also came out in chunks. This product on the other hand was very smooth and we were able to apply and spread easily but it wasn’t too thin like some others I’ve seen. Some of the whites can be watery, but not this product. We ended up doing two layers and that’s the beauty of the product, because it’s definitely buildable. I applied with a makeup sponge (you know the white multi pack you can buy at Walmart) I thought it was very good coverage and it lasted all night long! We stayed at the Halloween party for 4 hours and he still looked great by the end of it. Getting it off was not terrible…. Then again, I did send him in there myself and he was probably using hand soap 😂 but when he came out, it was mostly gone, aside from the spots he didn’t see. I will definitely purchase again in the future if needed! Btw, this is not a promotional review or paid review! Just my honest opinion on a product I loved!
