Look, if you’re reading this you and I both know how desperate you are, and what you’ve gone through to find yourself here.In my case, my wife purchased antique Italian faucets for the bathrooms on our boat... a boat built in South Africa... but must be repaired or renovated with SAE components. So I needed the metric for the copper pipes on the faucet, and US fittings to mate with the Sharkbites available in the States.All I can say is that I got them to work. They don’t leak. And it looks like they’ll last forever.Go ahead, get them, you won’t be sorry and you’re not going to find them cheaper anywhere in this hemisphere.Highly recommended!Helpful? 👇🏽

The compression fitting is correct, and the ID measured 10.0 mm on my sample. However, the NPT end has straight threads, and the male end bottoms out before achieving any torque. This would be fine if it was designed like a hydraulic swivel female NPT with a 30 degree chamfer to seal to the male NPT fitting, which it isn't. The "seal" is made on the face of the male NPT fitting, which is unlikely to actually work, and certainly not appropriate for use in a hydraulic system.

Advertising at 10 mm but actually sized at 9.87 mm so had to do some sanding to secure fit. So, either 10 mm tubing is too big or compression fitting is too small. Regardless, after install it appears to be a good product.
