The best nasal filters money can buy!
I have been using these filters for about a year or and just wouldn't be without them, I wear them pretty much every day. Since wearing them I have gained much more control over my allergic symptoms, (bearing in mind some of my sinus flare ups are down to food allergies and obviously the filters don't work on that level) all inhaled particles that I was previously allergic to are vastly lessened or completely caught in the filters. There is no nasal filter on the market that I know of that even comes close to the PM 2.5 particle removal, (that's one of the worst and smallest particle size of environmental pollution, ie vehicle fumes, smog etc). A few months ago we had that big Saharan dust pollution cloud blow over the UK for a few days but I was ready for it..WoodyKnows filters deal with this exact fine particle type smog pollution. Many years ago there was a similar pollution smog over London and many people died or had severe respiratory problems later in life, I believe it effected 1000's of peoples health. In this day and age we need on going protection from such external environmental stressors, we no longer live on a clean idealised planet, we are consciously killing the earth and ourselves via our destructive and uneducated ways. As much as this product is about reducing allergies, it also works on a level of protecting your lung health for years ahead, respiratory deterioration doesn't happen over night it occurs over a lifetime. Get WoodyKnows nasal filters and protect your respiratory health for today and for the future. The filters themselves are extremely comfortable and discrete. Personally yes people can see them if you are up very close but would you rather risk your health to fit in and look like every other uneducated and unprepared individual or be the person that breaks out of that box and does what is necessary to improve their health regardless of what anyone thinks. I used to have to walk around town wearing a ridiculously large cyclists type face mask, believe me I got lots of looks and taunts shouted at me but I was doing what was necessary to protect myself. Wearing the nasal filters is a breeze compered to this and no more odd looks or taunts. Please do yourself a favour and purchase these filters, I highly recommend them and its time we all woke up a little to our current reality from just assuming all will be ok. Get superhuman lung protection on the go with WoodyKnows Nasal Filters.

You need to get the right size!
Hayfever is giving me a real beating this year, and I was desperate to try something, ANYTHING alongside the copious medicines to try and give me some relief. I intended to order the tester pack to identify if the product is right for me, and to get the right size. Sadly, it was going to take 4-5 weeks for the round shape to be delivered. I absolutely could not wait that long. Instead I headed to the Woody Knows website to see if there was a size diagram - lo and behold there was! I measured my nostrils, and ordered a L in the end according to the size guide. I was very close to M size, but just tipped onto the L size. I considered which size to get for a long time (£18 isn't cheap!! I wanted to make sure I got the right ones!) and eventually decided that if they were too small they would fall out, so going for the L made the most sense. Sadly, they are too big. They fit into my nostrils and immediately seem to help reduce my hayfever symptoms, but they stretch my nose out uncomfortably. I can't wear them for longer than an hour - and now my nose is red raw from blowing it all the time, stretching it with these is just too painful. It's a shame, I can't really afford a second pack in the right size as they do seem to help, especially for sleeping. Maybe I'll treat myself on pay-day. Basically - order the tester pack if you can to get the right size. But if you simply can't wait (like me) use their size guide but with a pinch of salt.

Filters not as described
The replacement filters provided are quite simply, not filters, lacking one element described, consisting of one piece of material. Total rubbish. This is the second time this has occurred and I advise against any purchase of these replacement filters as they are not fit for purpose and legally in breach of trade description. The photos shows both sides of one filter and as can be seen, the same on both sides of the filter, lacking the primary filtering element. This is the second time this has occurred. Quality control is non existent as this matter has been flagged up with a previous order. NOT FILTERS !

Design fault which can be dangerous
I have suffered sinus problems for many years, due to an allergy to house dust mites. While browsing on Amazon for something to control dust mites, I came across this product and decided to give it a try. For years I have attempted to treat my symptoms by using nasal sprays, decongestants, anti-histamines etc, etc. These are largely ineffective and it seems to me that prevention is better than cure. For this reason this product seemed like a good idea. In each pack you will receive 3 re-useable filter holders and 12 disposable filters which are made of thin foam. The filter holders act as frames into which the foam filters are placed. Each pair of filter holders is joined with a strip of plastic. You push the filter holders into the nostrils, leaving the connecting plastic strip outside the nose at the base. The filters sit inside the nose and simply act as a barrier, preventing allergens getting up the nose and into the nasal passages. When you want to remove the filters, you simply pull them down using the plastic strip. A very simple idea which initially I found very effective. Indeed I reviewed this product shortly after buying it and gave it a 4 star review. However, some months later, after having a bad experience with the filters, I have edited my review and reduced my rating to 2 stars. The main reason for my change of heart is that the foam filters are not held securely within the filter holder; they simply sit loosely inside the filter holder and in consequence they frequently fall out. This didn't seem like a huge problem initially, more of an inconvenience. I normally wore the filters overnight and I am not a restless sleeper. Nevertheless when I woke up in the morning, more often than not one of the filters would have fallen out in the night. As I have said, this didn't seem like a major problem initially but after using the filters for a few months, I had a really bad experience. I woke up during the night coughing violently and feeling as if I was choking. I tried to drink some water and every time I swallowed it felt as if I was swallowing razor blades. I also still felt as if I was choking. It felt like the worst sore throat I have ever had. I sat up in bed, knowing that I would not be able to sleep because of the pain and a few minutes later I coughed and out of my mouth popped a foam filter. Immediately the pain reduced but I was still left with a rough, painful throat which in the end lasted for a good 5 days. There are 2 possibilities - the first is that the foam filter went right up my nose and down into my throat where it stuck. The second possibility is that the filter fell out onto my pillow and somehow I swallowed it, but it stuck in my throat. The first possibility is the most worrying. If the filter can go right up the nose, could it be breathed down into the lungs? I am not a doctor so I can't answer this. I also cannot explain why a tiny piece of foam could cause so much pain. All I know is that I stopped using these filters and have never used them again. This is a shame as I found the filters really effective. However, the design needs to be changed. There needs to be a way in which the filters are held securely inside the filter holders. It is vital that the filters are not able to fall out. I will not use the filters until this happens.

Pretty good but could be improved - UPDATE
I am in India for 4 months in a city with heavy pollution. I use these when traveling across town in an open 'auto rickshaw' where you are open to thousands of vehicles. I use them along with a face mask and it has helped a lot. The only problem I have with them is that they ARE quite noticible. The plastic is a pink colour and would be less noticeable if it was just clear plastic. Then the foam filter is white which makes your nostrils look very strange. The inside of one's nose is dark not bright so it would be much better to have darker filters. I really wouldn't want to wear these while walking around. But apart from that they are effective. I tried the more breathable reusable nose filters but it didn't feel like they made any difference. These are harder to breathe through but to me that shows that they are working so I don't mind. I think these would be useful for anyone who travels on polluted roads maybe by bike - but add on a mask on top. ****UPDATE**** For the first time EVER it looks like a company actually listened to it's customers and made the changes we wanted!! The new filters are a vast improvement - the plastic is now clear - the inside is now dark - the plastic seems softer - the filter is also new so i will update this again once I try it for a while. Overall these filters are excellent. I am now using them for hay fever/ allergies too and they are working very well. Can I just remind everyone to give them a few days because initially they feel strange - but you really do get used to them.

They really do work!
I’ve used these for the last three years, and have to say they haven’t let me down yet - even when the pollen count’s been really high. At the moment, when the weather’s beautiful and we’re all self-isolating, it would be too cruel to have to stay indoors so I panicked when I couldn’t find my supply from last year; advice online was that I’d have to wait a week (understandably, given current situation). But two days later they arrived, and my sneezing, runny nose, congestion and even itchy eyes (yes, I don’t understand how it works for eyes as well, either, but it does for me - even if it’s a placebo effect, I’ll take it!), all cleared up within a couple of hours. The first time I ordered them, I got a size that was too big and had to fiddle around a lot to make sure they stayed in place - not an attractive sight, obviously. No one wants to see a middle-aged woman apparently obsessively picking her nose. But the next year, I got the smaller size, and they fit perfectly well. I sleep with them in too. It’s worth getting the refills, by the way. Yes, of course they look weird if you tilt your head back and allow people to stare up your nose, so I’d advise you not to do that. And yes, the small plastic bridge that connects them is just about visible so if you think anyone has noticed it, you can either tell them you’ve had your nose pierced and it’s a temporary ring, or explain what it is in case they think it’s a bogey. Seriously, I’ve had so many really miserable years, and I’m allergic to just about every pollen out there, and I’m so grateful for these strange little things. Give them a go - what have you got to lose? Just make sure you get the right size and shape. (My husband says I snore less too....🧐)
