Great idea
These work great. Really helps to keep things from sliding around. Sturdy and solid. The only thing they could change is to make it fit smaller poles.

Works well in the areas it can be used
A Well made product that serves it purpose—but only on the free and clear parts of the large tubing on the load bar. It doesn’t work on the small diameter of the inner bar nor at the locking lever.

Screws are too short
These divider bars are very sturdy, better than some others I have, but they won't attach to my cargo bars with the included screws. I have the Keeper ratcheting cargo bar (round) and the heavier dutySecurity Chain Company CC5225 SecureBar (larger diameter square tubing). The included screws are way too short to mount on either of these cargo bars. I still like these divider bars, but I'll have to find some longer screws to mount these.

Excellent Customer Service
I bought the Stabiload divider bar to go along with the Hitchmate Cargo bar. Both are made exceptionally well, are heavy duty, easy to adjust and incredibly easy to install (2021 GMC Sierra). I use this to keep my crates from sliding all over the place (I place my groceries in them). Here’s where the company gets their five stars. When I first ordered the product through Amazon, I was obviously sent a product that had been previously opened. The two screws that were supposed to be included were missing. I COULD have just returned the product and requested an exchange. However I thought I’d email the company directly and see if they could just send me the screws. They responded in TWO HOURS and agreed to mail them even though it was clearly no fault of their own. A+ customer service and highly recommend.

Husband loves his gift!
This was a gift for my husband and he loves it. Now taking the pickup shopping or to the dump is easy as we don't have to worry about complicated tie-downs and ropes. It stores behind the truck seats and works just as described.Once you know your truck bed's width it's easy to use. That said, my daughter is not strong enough to lock it in place by herself, so I'm not sure if I'll order one for my Dad to use.

No more sliding around
The product works exactly as described. My bar to which this fits needed a little help before this worked. The diameter of the bar was too small and the screws could not tighten up against it. I used woodworking double face tape and secured a small block of wood in it and then the screws could tighten up against it.

Way overpriced for what it is
Having the ability to cinch or pin down your load from moving back and forth is a must when hauling items. It’s just a safe practice. The item does what it should, but the price you pay for it is well beyond what it should cost.Well made, just like the cargo bar. Just overpriced. But easy to adjust.

Holds up pretty well
Bought mine back around 2011 to use with a different bed bar, at first (a Lund ratcheting). Shortly after that, I got the divider bar from Hitchmate to actually fit it properly. At this point I have two of these. I've used them a LOT, and usually leave at least one connected to the bar in the truck bed.Given these are over 13 years old, they've held up pretty well. Some surface rust, and other flaws to the clamping section are evident. Pretty sure the flaws are due to the metal used for the construction. This weekend I decided to refinish both items. Removed the old finish (acetone soak, scrape, then media blast) and sprayed with Elite series Cerakote (R-100/Blackout). Also degreased and blasted the thumb screws (age made them harder to turn). Used a different color for the screws, because I could (E-310/Fire). These should now last a LOT longer.I'm also on my second Hitchmate stabilizer bar. Not that there was anything wrong with the first one (bought in 2011 as well) but because since 2019, GMC/Chevy truck beds were wider inside. Enough so that the bar I had didn't reach even at maximum extension.Keep in mind, these divider bars are designed to work with the Hitchmate stabilizer bar, not other brand bars. Unless those other bars are the same OD as the Hitchmate product. I cannot fault them for doing that.
