Maybelline New York Super Stay Better Skin Foundation, Classic Ivory, 1 fl. oz.

I truly like this foundation. I was first introduced to it last year via Influenster but they sent me the wrong shade. This time I purchased a shade closer to my skin color in the summer months. Still gives great coverage. does improve the look skin by helping to fade minor discoloration because of the Vitamin C in it. This is NOT a matte formula so if you have combination or oily skin you will have oil breakthrough. I use a mattifying primer under it and a mattifying face primer over it to help control oil. The foundation lasts me for a good 8 hours. I've never worn it longer than that though.

Are you freaking kidding me?!?! I've ordered a lot on Amazon but I have NEVER received anything like I did today. As soon as I got home from work this evening, I saw it was delivered, picked it up and right away told my husband it didn't feel like what I ordered. NO WONDER! Maybelline literally sent me JUST THE DIRTY, MESSY TOP of a bottle of foundation. Like, what?!?! So I've read other people's reviews before about how their products arrive and I'll admit, like some of you likely, that I've thought to myself "Yeah, sure, you're probably making it up to get a refund". But ya'll. I believe them now because it just happened to me. And the kicker?? Their return policy is literally requiring me to return just the top! SEE THE PHOTO, they sent me exactly that and I haven't even removed it from the package. It has foundation on it so someone just packed it like that?!?! What'd they do with the actual bottle part? NEVER EVER WILL I ORDER FROM MAYBELLINE AGAIN. I knew I should have just kept with It Cosmetics but was being too cheap this time. Well, now I will go and buy what I should have the first time and wait for my refund AFTER I SEND BACK THE TOP OF THE BOTTLE. I'm so ticked off and disappointed that a national well-known company would do this! Smh!! 😡

Foundation is silky on skin. Coverage is smooth with sponge. Noticeably smudge-proof. Odorless. Pump offers cleaner application than pouring from bottle. Not airfoam quality, but pump saves from wasting makeup. Non-drying. Lasted 8-hour day with one morning application. Can feel the makeup on skin to touch, but composition is not heavy as with full coverage foundation. Easily washes off with cleanser and water. Pleased with quality for daily use.

I am unable to find this exact type of foundation in any retail store where I live, but I wanted to give it a whirl after reading some good reviews. I have never bought foundation online, especially when I haven't used it in real life, so I was pretty hesitant. However, I really love this! I have been halfheartedly using L'Oreal True Match, which as far as color selection is great, but it doesn't seem to last very well for me even when using a good primer. I am very fair with freckles so it is hard to find foundation that evens me out, without being so heavy that it covers my freckles. This stuff truly lasts and I adore the finish. I don't like a super duper matte finish for everyday, and this is the perfect finish - not too dewy, not too matte. I generally have to use one type of powder or another to get my desired look with other types of foundation, but not this one. I can apply and not even have to use setting powder. It lasts but doesn't look to thick or fakey. Will definitely reorder! Oh, and the color I got was classic ivory, good for fair freckled redheads.

This make-up last all day, makes my skin look very good and has sun screen it that works but I like the make-up to blend with my skin color so you cannot tell I have makeup on my bad/blothcy skin. The ivory color is NOT ivory, it has some beige or some kind of color in it so it does not blend in to look like my skin. Ivory should not have beiges or gold tones in it and this ivory does.

Love the way the cream feels on my face, cant tell its there, very light weight. Just wish I could find the right color. Brought several different shades and no luck so far, all too light in color for me. But I will try the next color because I really like the feel of this product on my face.

I have purchased this same brand from the store and generally love it. It is sheer yet offers coverage and stays on all day. Easy to wash off at night. However, this is the 2nd time I ordered this product online and (1) the pump has been broken, and (2) the consistency and viscosity of THIS makeup I ordered from this vendor is off. It's too thick and clumpy which is not the norm for this product. So buyer beware.
