Great Aussie Swim Parkas Unisex Adult & Youth, Extra Long, Australian Owned, Natural Cotton Lining for Warmth

I only swim for recreation and health, so when I wear this I do feel like a poser swim team athlete. But I don't care! I wear it to the pool and just zip it off and I'm ready to swim. I come out of the pool, don't even towel off, and zip up and I am back in the car to go home. This makes the effort of swimming less, thus obviating any excuses for not going to the pool. It's warm for cool days, but probably not as toasty as fleece. The jacket is really heavy, as essentially you're wearing a towel encased in water resistant nylon. Like others mentioned, the double ended zipper can be finicky and fiddly to zip up which can frustrate when you're trying to get warmed and out fast. I have been very happy with my swim parka and it makes getting in and out of the pool really trouble free.

bought this for my daughter. She absolutely loves it. Looks great, fits well, keeps car seat dry. keeps her warm on chilly days. My only little annoyance with this is that the zipper is a little difficult for her to manipulate as it is a two way zipper. That could be because she is just nine and this is the first zipper like this she has used. Even for me it is just slightly tricky to start but works well once you get it started. I would still recommend this product.Update as of Dec 2017: This parka has held up so well and still fits her even though she is now truly a size 14-16 in girls clothing. She uses it 6 days a week at practice and all day long at swim meets. Still looks great. Definitely recommend this parka

This is one of those " What a great idea! Why didn't I think of that?" sort of products. We take our four year old granddaughter to her weekly swim lessons, which is a real joy. What isn't a joy is waiting in line for a changing room after the lesson and then trying to pull on dry clothes over a still-damp little body once we actually get in there. It's particularly not-fun in the winter when we have to add extra layers to keep her comfortable while we dash to the car. This week, we skipped the line, popped her in the parka and went to the car. We were home a fully half hour earlier than before. This parka not only keeps the chill away, its lightweight waterproof exterior is paired with an absorbent towel lining that keeps the carseat completely dry once she sits down in it for the ride home. Another plus is that she says it's very comfortable and she thing she looks "very cool" wearing it. The construction is first-rate. Seams are well-sewn and the zippers and closures are top of the line. The parka will definitely last the rough zipping and unzipping. I bought a second parka for an older granddaughter. I was curious about if it was washable or not (it is, but you can usually just hang it up to dry with an occasional washing on the gentle cycle). I went to the company's website to read their FAQ. There, I found a summer (sleeveless) version of the parka. I couldn't find it on Amazon initially, so I emailed the company's customer service and got a pleasant reply a couple of hours later. As it turns out, I just didn't scroll down far enough to find it on Amazon. Once I did find it, I ordered the summer version for both girls too. Great product. I highly recommend it.

This is a great swim parka. My daughter uses every day that she swims, which is 3 times a week. It's thick so it keeps her warm and my seats dry. She is 9 and I got her the size 8. It comes down just past her knees. My daughter actually likes the terry cloth material on the inside. She says it feels just like a warm towel... soft and cozy.

Just what I needed for winter water aerobics! Keeps me warm go and coming to the pool.

This jacket is soooooo great. Gosh it has made life so much easier for my kids and I. We go straight from school to swim at the Y so they change into their suits in the car (locker rooms are closed due to COVID) and then throw the jacket on with a pair of sandals. They go in, swim for an hour, throw the jacket back on and hop in my car and we leave - so efficient! I don’t have to pack a change of clothes or even a towel because this entire jacket is lined with a towel! They don’t even get my car seats wet! They like to use this jacket when they get out of our hot tub at home too because its more convenient and warmer than using a regular towel. MONEY WELL SPENT. Bought my 7 year old a size 10 and my 9 year old a size 12...the jackets are huge on them but work just fine and they will be able to use them for years to come! The only annoying part of the jacket is the double zipper, so sometimes they struggle with that. I wish it was just a regular zipper...the double isn’t necessary.

Ok, I'm a wimp. I live in south Florida, and love to swim laps all year. I love jumping out of the pool into this COZY parka. I'm 5'8" and got an XL. It IS large. It fits my 6'2" hubby comfortably too. He teased me for buying this for south Florida, but now wants MINE. I will get a large for me. COZY, WARM, SOFT, ROOMY and keeps my car bone dry. I )now WE) are thrilled!

This is a great product if you are constantly in and out of the water. I am a water skier who lives up in the mountains, consequently our water ski season is short and temperatures drop dramatically in the fall. May and September mornings especially on the lake are glassy, perfect for skiing, but it's chilly! Between sets it is important to stay warm without having to change attire. This hooded cloak has been ideal. It's essentially a giant beach towel covered in a heavy-duty nylon shell. I was actually amazed at how heavy it was, which is a good thing. It insulates perfectly and really keeps the cold wind off when I'm driving for my ski partner. When it's my turn to ski again, I just toss it off and jump back in the water. After skiing I hang it up inside-out for the lining to dry and it's good to go again in a few hours. My only niggle was the lower zipper of the double zipper kept hanging up and was hard to insert, but I just ground off a bit of the zipper pin and it seats into the zipper box smoothly now. Best water ski accessory ever.

Daughter super happy with this, she is a petite 11 yo but I went for 14yrs as I want it to last, it’s a good big pit on her, nice & slim, looks really good & keeps her super warm. She gets nice comments about it!

Here in Tassie where the weather is so cold but you still want to go swimming in our heated pools, this robe is the perfect thing to put on when you get out as well as wear when driving home if you choose not to use the Pool's change rooms. Keeps you warm and the car dry. I love mine.

ordered this product due to pool work and have found it to meet my expectations. It is quite long but this is very beneficial in windy weather and during my lunch break it keeps me warm enough stopping my need to shower and change plus it keeps my car dry if I go home in my swim gear. definitely happy with my purchase.

Tested it this weekend on the beach and it was so great to wrap myself in a thick and wind-proof parka! Good it's long enough to keep me warm from top to toe.The inside is 100% cotton, it feels natural and absorbs water really well. I found helpful to turn it inside out before hanging so it dries quicker.
