Pocket radio, goes where UV-5r can't.
KD-C1 and similar (Retrevis etc.) are quite nice for UHF repeaters while out for a walk. Pocket wear is terrible on rubbery painted radio keys (baofeng uv-5r) and scratchable screens, but not on this radio. Good complement for the UV-5R at half the cost.
