Will give you some freedom back!
Purchased for broken foot with 6-8 weeks non-weight bearing; after 1 week on crutches I needed an alternative! If your Dr approves of a knee scooter and you are a lightweight adult/child under 5'5" this is a must. For reference I am 5'3.5" and weigh 112lb & this kids size scooter is ideal as is less bulky/heavy than others. Does not require that you inflate the tires, bonus. Some assembly out of box but wrench provided. It does not collapse as small as images & I couldn't lift in/out of car alone on one leg! but if someone helps & you have space in car/small suv it will fit.At 5'3.5" there is still room to adjust handlebars & knee rest higher (guessing 5'5" ish you'd still be comfortable - check max weight allowed). It is not perfect, does not turn on a dime so occasionally need to lift front up to make a 360 turn. My knee did hurt the first couple days felt like a trapped nerve behind knee, persevere. My suggestion is play around with the height. Knee must be at right angle and hips sit level. Handlebars at just below waist height. It does have a hand break which is nice but honestly it doesn't move around loads when stationary due to the rubber wheels. It does not remove the need for crutches which you still want for stairs. I purchased 2 scooters and kept 1 down and 1 upstairs. They are a good price point and have given me a lot of freedom. Mainly as it frees up your hands and saves your underarms/shoulders from strain of crutches. My family laughed at the basket but you will not believe how useful it is! I have not used on rough terrain (only the supermarket). Holds up perfectly for indoor & level pavement usage.

Love my knee rover
I am 4’11” tall adult women and I was afraid the adult size scooter would be too tall for my short legs and torso. The child one was perfect out of the box. It came about 99 % assembled. You just have to put the handle bars and basket on. Easy to adjust. The instructions tell you how to adjust breaks which I didn’t have to do and to make sure to tighten the wheels every few days if needed. So far I haven’t had to do anything to mine. I had foot surgery 3 weeks ago and I was getting very tired of crutches and they were hurting my arm pits and I felt very unstable using them and almost fell a few times which is scary. I have had no issues with my knee rover. It does take some getting used to and learning not to lean forward. Best to keep your center of gravity for better balance and maneuvering it. I have 2 more weeks till I get my cast off and wish I had bought this at the very beginning.

Very useful
My kid was in a cast for 6 weeks. Crutches were very awkward so we got this. They were able to ambulate much faster with this. Because of how fast you can go with this, this can lead to injury. Be sure to use this supervised. Took off one star because it is difficult to fold down the handle.

Works great!
Son broke his ankle while skate boarding. This made getting around so much easier!

Better than crutches.
It was exactly what my six year old grandson needed when he hurt his foot. It was very easy to put together and took less than 5 minutes. My grandson enjoyed using it and was able to get around wherever he wanted.

Sturdy and helpful
I am 5’ 2” and was able to adjust this to a comfortable height. I am recovering from ankle fracture surgery. The scooter’s small basket lets me transport (small ) objects around the house and the brake lock feature allows me to confidently rest my knee on the scooter pad, so I can work at a counter.

Great product!
The knee scooter as we affectionately call it came well packaged and with great directions! Directions had a step by step with color pictures and everything. It took me a few min to remove the protective coverings and another few minutes to get set up. My 6 yr old has been using it successfully, his foot is broken and he can’t put weight on it for at least 6 weeks-we are 2 weeks in and this scooter had made it so he can go to Sunday school, come with us to check mail, and just feel more independent without risking injury to his foot. Great product. Great company!
