The Sorrows of Satan

I needed this book for a class and turns out I don't even have the full ending! What is the use of reading a book and not being able to read how it ends? It stops in the middle of the confrontation between Lucio, Geoffrey, and Sibyl. If I bought this book, I would love a refund. If not, I would love if someone would tell me what happened. I'm not buying another book just to see what happens within the remaining AND MISSING 12.5 CHAPTERS.

i read this book in russian when i was 10 and this it the best book ive read so far in my life im 40 now. this book clarifies my soul on the very deep level. better then the Bible does. For a very long time (because of a mistake of russian publicists, they printed Brem Stoker as the author) i was looking for this book in English to read.

Frankly, I didn't get through this book, although I'm sure it's just as beautifully written as other Corelli's books are, and I've readseveral. By the time I got to this one, about 5 books down my list, I was getting tired of her being tired of people who have fallen into the downward spiral of being human, having a human ego and forgetting that we are beautiful spiritual beings who have lost our way, although our God is calling us home to beauty, Light and our original estate of Purity and Love.

I thought this was a normal paperback book. I should have figured out the dimensions. I didn't see it was 8.5x11". It's sooooo long. It's like a very thin text book. Wish I could return for a better version.

IT IS NOT THE WHOLE BOOK. I cannot get a refund because it is past seven days of the purchase date... some readers are busy and cannot finish a book in seven days... silly policy. Don't even waste 99 cents. Buy a different version.

I am re-reading this book after 30 years and still find something worthy in its message. It's a bit repetitive and overly obvious, but I forgive Corelli. She had no modern editors to streamline her work.

Very gay

If you don't like typos, the Elibron version of THE SORROWS OF SATAN, the costlier of the two Kindle versions currently available, is genuinely better.The other one has not only typos, but quote marks separated from the quotes they enclose by a space, so that you often get quotes isolated at the end or beginning of lines.The Elibron version is in the special formal typeface used on Kindle by some of the Oxford classics, and therefore page turning will be a little slower, but it's much more handsome and readable, and has comparatively no typos at all.Downloading samples will show the difference. Strangely, SORROWS is not available through Gutenberg in any form, though Gutenberg has other and even more popular Corelli novels.
