I ended up buying 2 of these. They are AWESOME and worth the extra cost over toy versions.
I have been looking at hobby grade RC cars for quite some time but I just couldnt justify spending $300+ on a toy for myself as an adult. But now my son is 4yo and in love with toy RC cars so I purchased him the Bezgar 12 toy grade RC car and decided to get the Bezgar 1 for myself so we could play together. There is a HUGE difference between the Bezgar toy grade and Hobby grade. The toy grade is fun. Cuts through packed leaves no issues unlike the walmart cars, goes up a 45 degree slope and moves over rocks and obstacles no issues, but the toy grade is stiff and slow. My Bezgar 1 on the otherhand, also rips through leaves handles slopes and goes over anything that the wheels can grab traction on. The problem I ran into is while my son loved his new car, once he saw my car.. there was no turning back. "Dad, can we share? You try mine and let me drive yours!" Theres no comparison. We went to the skate park christmas evening and took the 2 cars into one of the pools... his toy grade did great.. went about 3' up the curved walls and was great fun... My Bezgar 1... made it all the way up 12' walls and jumped out of the pool landing on the ground and kept going. That night when we got home, I ended up buying a 2nd Bezgar 1 so I didnt have to share...There is a dial on controller to adjust maximum speed. This is a wonderful feature. When im racing against slower car, or when my son is driving, i turn the speed way down. At the slowest setting its still 50% faster than the Toy versions, but is easier to control and due to the fantastic power, it can still climb up the 6-8' walls in the skating pools but doesnt crash as often as it doesnt get quite so much air flying out.The suspension works fantastic and keeps the vehicle quite stable when crawling over small rocks and other obstacles and after coming off jumps it absorbs impact exceedingly well without bouncing. I accidently launched the car at night off a ramp into a skate pool and it dropped about 14' landing on its wheels and kept going. I dont recommend doing that on purpose but it was quite impressive. The range seems to be about 200' or so on the remote and once of range it cuts out and the headlights start blinking until you get back in range then it automatically pairs back up and works again. I would prefer a little longer range, but its plenty for 99% of the places I want to use it.I have read that these cars lose speed offroad and driving over grass and leaves but I have not experienced that at all. From a dead stop, it takes a few extra feet to get up to speed on lawn or leaves, but once this thing is moving its a beast and nothing i have throw at it slows it down so far.It does have working headlights and while they dont illuminate the road in front of it real well, they do make it much easier to see in the evening and they are bright.Battery life is great. I would say I get 15min continous play out of a battery on high speed. About 20min if i turn the speed dial down all the way. It comes with 2 batteries so we can get a good 30min of playtime in before have to recharge. As a 46yo adult, 30min is perfect. My 4yo would prefer 2 hours, but understands we have to charge th batteries. They also sell extra batteries cheap on Amazon. I plan on ordering at least 4 more just to have on hand for when we go walking or hiking so I can toss them in my backpack. If it will let me add videos and pix after posting review ill upload some from my iphone of these cars in action at the skate park and maybe in my backyard doing tricks.Cons:--The body shell doesnt hold up very well. The body on my truck was cracked and missing a few sections after 1 day of use... I should say 1 day of ABuse because it was a bit of a learning curve getting to control the car properly when its flying through the air. To remedy this, I used gorilla tape and reinforced the entire underside of my shell and replaced the missing sections with gorilla tape. For my sons car, I taped it all up before I gave it to him so while I expect it will still crack, the tape will hold it all together. If you drive with the wheels on the ground instead of sliding with the wheels in the air, there shouldnt be much issue :)No other cons I have at this time but ill update after a month. At time of writing, its only been 4 days of use.Last thing: Customer support has been awesome so far, responsive within 24hours answering questions and they seem really cool. I look forward to using more of their products in the future.

Great truck and customer service
My wife and I bought the Bezgar1 truck for our son for his 12th Birthday. It came in 06.18.21 and he used It for the first time on 06.19.21. He went through both batteries and had a blast with it. Went to drive it on 06.20.21 and made it through 1 battery pack. When we put the second battery in, it took off on its own so we resynced the truck and controller and he drove it for about 10 or 15 minutes and it died. It would steer but not go forward or in reverse unless you gave it a little push but would barely move after that for a short distance. I emailed Bezgar support that night to activate the warranty card and to tell them what had happened with the truck and also attached a short video for them to see. I had a response in under 30 minutes letting me know that the controller circuit board locator was not on frequency and the motor had failed along with reasons why it failed and pictures of the motor. They told me they would ship one out along with a new controller asap. On 06.21.21 I got a shipping confirmation and an eta of 06.23.21. It ended up coming in 06.22.21 which we were really impressed with how fast it came in and how everything was handled. There was also a follow up email to see if we had received the controller and motor. I put the motor in the truck that night and put a full charge on both batteries so he could drive it the next day. While I had it apart I took the time to look over the drive components. From the motor drive gear to the ring and pinion, all parts are metal and greased to keep the parts lubricated and to help dissipate heat. The axles front and rear are also metal. The steering servo and linkages are plastic along with the upper and lower control arms. The shocks front and rear did come with some oil in them. Today is 06.25.21 and we have gone through the rechargeable batteries several times since the new motor was installed. This truck is fast. I haven't tested it with a gps yet, but I would say 25-30mph on the road. It is slower off road obviously but can still move pretty quick through the dirt and grass that was a little taller than the truck. It can also take a tumble/wreck, which it has a few times now. It comes with 2 batteries, 2 usb charging cables and 1 usb to wall adapter, but you can use your phone charger adapter for the other charging cable. Each battery pack has lasted around 20 minutes with both on and off road driving. They do take a couple hours to charge. The steering response is very good but you will lose your turn radius the faster you go. The acceleration is great and you can also adjust the speed on the controller along with the steering trim if it tends to veer to the left or right when driving a straight line. As far as distance, my son has driven it down to his grandparents house which is about 300 feet from our house and it didn't lose reception which is impressive. It does get a little hard to see though. Overall my son is very happy with his truck and even though the motor died rather quickly and we had a controller issue, Bezgar's customer support really came through and took care of the problem which is why I am giving it a 5 star rating. It's a great truck so far and they have great customer support so I would definitely recommend this product. Last thing ill mention is that when you activate the warranty it comes with a list of components that you can pick 1 from and receive for free. My son picked the batteries and we received those 2 days later after asking for them. You can also get 30% off additional Bezgar products. Again, great truck and customer support. Thank you Bezgar.
