Do i have to heat the butter to put on popcorn after popping or is it melted and ready to put on popcotn?

It needs to be melted for best coverage over the popcorn. The room temperature product is somewhat thick. We have used those that are more liquid like, and this one is far superior from a taste perspective. It only needs 15-20 seconds in a microwave or to be put in the butter tray of an airpopper

Is it used for popping corn or after popping ?

I got the impression from reading the label, that it is a topping and not to be used for popping. I use regular oil for popping, and then top with the buttery flavoring. It is really good. I've found that if you put it in a bowl with a lid, you can drizzle on the topping, then place the lid on the bowl and toss to disperse the butter evenly on the popcorn

Is this a creamy colored not clear like the canola oil?

It is not clear. It is a yellow color. It is butter flavored , but it is like oil it's easy to pump to put on popcorn. Taste great love it. Hope this help.

Buttery flavor

Great popcorn topping and good for cooking too, adds a nice buttery flavor to your fried food. Haven’t tried it in recipes that require melted butter yet so not sure how that would work.
