All healthy ingredients and quality coverage
I like knowing that while I’m trying to avoid sun poisoning that I’m not being chemically poisoned by a sunscreen. This product has quality ingredients, is rated highly by the Environmental Working Group, and so far it has protected me quite well. It is a bit thick to spread across the skin but with a little bit of coconut oil it moves well, and also if you’re mindful to apply a thin layer, you will get the most out of this product.

This takes white face to another level!
EWG certified (that means you're not going to grow a second head from all the toxic chemicals found in other bottles). Great for embarrassing yourself or children when a photo opportunity arises because you have white sunscreen all over your face. If you're undergoing pigment operations for fairer skin, this is a cheap and safe alternative! Enjoy the sun. Overall, this is a safe alternative to the chemically toxic ridden sunscreens that are out there. It does not spread will as it is very pasty, but we're after safety and protection at the end of the day so it's a green light from me! Enjoy that Vitamin D! :D

High Quality...Just a Bit Thick
So far so good. I like the product, it’s a little difficult to spread though. I do expect that from a real, all natural and organic sun block product but, this one seems a little thicker than the others I’ve tried before. However, I’m willing to do a little more work for a good product like this so 4 stars. No smell really, which is nice, and the ingredients seem high quality. I will purchase this product again in the future.

Works, but extremely thick
I found this to be a decent sunscreen, as effective as other sunscreens I tried this summer. I really like the ingredients -- it rates at a 1 on EWG's harmful ingredients scale. Unfortunately I just didn't like the consistency. It is extremely thick. Takes more effort to squeeze out of the tube, and squeezes out in little sunscreen snakes that hold their shape until you smear them. And I did massage the tube like the sticker advises. Most mineral sunscreens will leave the skin looking a little pale, but of the 3 mineral sunscreens I tried out this summer, this one left my skin the most pasty looking. I found that it worked fine as a sunscreen, but I liked the Babo Botanicals and BurnOut sunscreens that I tried better than this one.

Natural, organic sunscreen. No chemicals!
Two Peas Organics Mineral Sunscreen is certified organic, free of the chemicals found in many other brands of sunscreen. It also uses organically sourced ingredients which makes it better for the environment than many competitors. This is marketed as suitable for even babies sensitive skin as it is chemical free. Upon use I found that it has a pleasant scent (fragrance free but the zinc has a light scent anyway which I did not mind). It is somewhat thick but spreads easily and was non greasy. The tube lists all the ingredients, also lists appropriate measures to remain safe in the sun which is a nice addition to the packaging. I haven’t had an opportunity to try this out in the real sun just yet but am looking forward to the opportunity. For those that say that they got burned using it I will point out that it is only SPF 30 so reapplication and further sun protection measures are key with an SPF 30 product. I would likely use this on an average summer day for sun protection but if I were planning a long day in the sun of boating or water activities I may look for a product with a higher SPF. Hopefully in the future Two Peas Organics will produce higher SPF so I can continue with this brand! Pros: spreads easily, non greasy, smells good, organic, no chemicals, good for sensitive skin, environmentally conscious and health conscious company. Cons: smallish tube - not for full body use all summer, doesn’t come in higher SPF than 30.

It doesn't work.
Over the last few years I've been trying to research products to get ones that are healthier, that don't have things like endocrine disruptors (parabens, phtalates, plastics, etc.), heavy metals (aluminum, lead, mercury, etc.), fluoride, pesticides and herbicides (Round-up contaminates almost all wheat products because it's used as a desiccant). My family was planning a cruise vacation to Roatan, Honduras, Costa Maya, Mexico, and Cozumel, Mexico, so I started doing some research on sunscreen. A lot of the standard sunscreens work because the chemicals they use for protection against UV rays are endocrine disruptors, meaning they mess with your hormones. The prevalent use of these chemicals (mostly plastics) has been lowering men's testosterone every year for decades, and has really bad side effects for both men and women. So, I found this sunscreen and a few others like it that would be perfect for me, that use non-nano Zinc Oxide as protection against UV rays, and don't have the other bad stuff. It's also supposed to be coral reef safe since the particles of Zinc Oxide are larger and can't be absorbed into the reef. My older brother, older sister, and I were planning (and went) snorkeling on Roatan to look at the reef and fish (amazing by the way). If it worked, this product and one other we used would've been perfect and gotten 5 stars. But, they don't work. After snorkeling I got a really bad blistering sunburn over my entire back, upper arms, lower legs, and forehead. The picture I posted doesn't do it justice, I was much brighter red than the picture shows, and it was taken before the really large blisters started to form. We were outside for about 4 hours. Everyone that used this sunscreen got sunburned, including my older sister, younger sister, and her boyfriend, the latter 2 were elsewhere on the island and didn't go swimming. We all applied it multiple times; my younger sister applied it 6 times and still got burned. I've worked outside a lot. I know that I burn once, and then tan afterward, so I'm not really susceptible to bad burns like pale redheads. Honestly, for myself, I could have applied it more, and applied more of it, but the fact that both my sisters applied it more frequently and with more of it each time, and still got burned, indicates that what this product uses doesn't work as a sunscreen. I wish it was because otherwise the product is great. It smells great and seemed to stay on even in the water for a while. It was a bit difficult to rub in and when using a lot you get a white like coating. I can't seem to find any other alternative between Zinc Oxide sunscreens and the more normal ones with the bad chemicals in them. Given how bad the sunburns were for my family, we all agreed that it would be better to use the normal sunscreens than to get burned that badly again.
