I never before bought DVD player that was not a name brand . I have a Sony DVD player ,but it has region restriction and I did not know this . I wanted to play a DVD that was a import and would not play . So I bought this particular small compact DVD player with no region restriction and it gives a great picture and works great . It comes with all the cables too. It fits also right on top of my Sony , I made a good purchase .

This DVD player is perfect! It is super budget friendly and easy to set up. The quality is honestly amazing and I have had NO issues thus far! If you’re looking for both a budget friendly and space friendly DVD player, this is the one for you! I tried both the AV cords and the HDMI and the HDMI is definitely better but if you don’t have HDMI capabilities the AV is still amazing!!

Original purchase-December 2024-unit didn't work well. Very touchy operation, but it would work. Used it infrequently, and the player got progressively worse, unit it stopped working altogether. Contacted Electcom Pro directly, and they arranged a new replacement. The new unit works much better than the original, hopefully it will remain so over time. That being said, it's a decent unit for the price, very compact, but the customer service is excellent, so it gets a good review.

Very simple. Excellent customer service. Bought this Dec 2024. Stopped working Dec 2025. Contacted customer service. Within 1-2 days received an email with trouble shooting ideas. Didn't help. So they sent me a new unit. It worked, however the open/close button was bent. Sent them a picture of the damaged button. Within a couple days they sent another new one. Third one is a charm! All is good. Thanks to Mike(customer service rep)

I bought this as a gift for my brother in another state. His neighbor actually came over, hooked it up and showed him how to use it. It was not difficult, he is just old. It works wonderfully for him.

Large button remote was perfect for our needs. It was easy to use and set-up. The DVD player stopped reading disks 4 months after purchase (August to December). Update: After the above review I received a replacement in a timely manner. Save your old remotes as they work with the replacement players.

I finally found a small size DVD player that is easy to use and also show on-screen captions, when available on the DVD. The product was well packaged in its own box and included instructions, two types of cables (RCA and HDMI) and remote. I have purchased numerous DVD players over the years and this one is the best.
