The blade was included in the box

Can this saw be used for cutting wood? Is the blade the only difference between metal and wood cutting?

I use this saw to cut wood when I have to make a quick cut and I don't want to bring out the corded skill saw. I found an inexpensive wood cutting blade that fit the arbor on Amazon. The only drawback is that cutting wood drains the battery very, very fast. One charge won't make it through a sheet of 1/2" plywood but it will make a couple cuts of a 2x4.

Will the Milwaukee 48-11-1815 M18 Compact RED LITHIUM battery work with this saw?

Hi David, I see somebody already sent a response, but he is wrong, he must have things confused? The compact 48-11-1815 WILL NOT WORK ON THIS! I have a lot of Milwaukee tools and batteries. Howie.

Power through your project with this circular saw

The Milwaukee M18 Fuel circular saw is a must have for pros and DYIers. I have put mine through its paces and am very satisfied with its performance. It is a well balance saw that cuts through the toughest of woods. The M18 fuel 5.0 mA battery holds a long lasting charge. The handy charge indicator provides battery life so I don’t run out of juice in the middle of a cut. I highly recommend this saw.

Really works

I bought this to give to my son for Christmas. He has a small metal fab shop. When he got it he wasn’t impressed as he is a wiz with an angle grinder and plasma cutter. That is until he tried it. He loved it! A real grab and go tool. No fooling with cords and hoses, no grinding dust, no constantly changing disks . He gets the job done in a third if the time and it makes a nice clean and straight cut

New go to tool for metalwork

The portaband has been put away. This saw is the new go to for cutting unistrut, conduit, and angle stock. I've used it to cut 1/4" 316SS 3" angle on the job site with no issues. Quickly and easily. Just have good hearing protection.

Works perfectly

I work with outside finishes and this one for metal sheets are perfect, I use the Milwaukee grinder for more structural metals but for finish metals the grinder burns and leave marks at the metal, with this saw I can cut the sheet and leave a perfect cut without damage
