Toysmith Base Jumpers (Assorted Colors)

Seems very tough material, my 3 year old son has been throwing this thing around the house and it always opens up and floats to the ground. Great classic toy that is improved over the old version with all the strings. This parachute does NOT tangle when thrown like advertised.

My grandkids love them. We have had endless fun with them by throwing them off our outdoors deck and watching them sail to the ground 15 feet below. A great buy! They have had several weeks of on&off use and are still hanging in.

It is too light to throw up in the air very high so it needs more weight or a launcher of some kind. If it caught more air and decended more slowly, that would also be better.

The boy I gave it to, loved it. He used it again and again and again, till finally I think he lost it either on the tree or up on the roof.

We have had a very interesting experience! The toy is just fun. Yes, it works. You throw it in the air. It comes down parachuting. But, one day my husband and son were playing with it outside and the wind blew it onto the roof! Being the good parents we are, we got it down...a month later. It got rained on. The wind blew on it like crazy. Leaves and pine needles fell on it. And when we got it down it was completely IT TACT! We still play with it all the time! If you want a parachute guy, I highly recommend this one!

My grandson said he wanted a red parachutist.Based on the picture I thought I was receiving a red figure. It was green.

This was a big hit with the neighborhood kids. We were on the upper balcony launching this little paratrooper and it worked great. It will work from ground level as well but you have to be careful how you fold it or else the chute doesn't open. Just folding it the way the instructions say and keeping it very loose worked the best for us. I thought the bottom half of the chute was solid plastic but it is actually netting and the air flows through to catch the upper half perfectly. Clever idea I thought.

My 5 yr old can't throw this high enough for the parachute to open all the way. The little man seems too heavy. I found a lighter one at the food store. And a lot cheaper. Not worth the money
