Flame Boss High Temperature Pit Probe with Straight Plug

These probes take all the guess work out BBQ. No more over cooked meat, the probes along with the Flame Boss 500 make every cook perfect especially long overnight ones.

After only a couple of uses the probe quit working and no longer read temperatures. Thus becoming useless.

I bought this as a spare as they are not the highest quality and will fail when you need it most.. the sensor is not secured into the probe tip and will pull out without you knowing

Probe is unreliable, frequently and unpredictably reads to upper limit.On the right side of the graph the pit probe is clipped to the meat probe, they should read identical temperatures but the pit probe quickly runs away.Do not recommend.

My Flame Boss pit probe quit working correctly. I found a replacement on Amazon and ordered it. I don’t remember how long it took to get here but it came pretty fast and worked great!

Haven't used it yet, bought it as a spare. My original Flame Boss Pit Probe is still working after about 3 years!
