Good value if care is taken when fitting.
I spent some time looking at this type of "extender" after finding it very awkward to fit lights on the handlebars of a Specialized Roubaix as there is very limited space. Many looked pretty much identical apart from the name on them and the price. Consequently I picked one of the cheapest, figuring that if it wasn't any good I would have lost little more than the cost of a couple of coffees and cake! The various shims provided enabled me to get a relatively good fit on my bars but only when I used half of the thinnest shim. As extra protection for the bars a couple of wraps of insulation tape was applied under the shim and clamp. The clamps are narrow so I was gentle when tightening to avoid stripped threads or putting too much strain on the pivot of the clamp. Consequently the clamps are tight enough to avoid them rotating whilst on the bike but not quite tight enough for them not to move slightly (a couple of mm at the tube at most) when pulling the elasticated strap on a front light fitting. Easily adjusted back. It might be possible to get an absolutely rigid fit but I didn't want to push my luck by over tightening so can't say whether or not you can get such a fit. The advantage of narrow clamps is that they require very little space to be fitted. Functionally the bar performs perfectly well. The 22mm diameter extension tube may be too small for some things you want to clamp on a bar. In my case a Lezyne front light fitted fine. The bar is surprisingly lightweight and reasonably well finished. Provided you have a bit of patience and take care with the fitting, a good value product.

Slightly flawed but easily fixed.
Good little bar for ancillary items. It's not the nicest quality but what can you expect for how little money it is. Mine had a small amount of pitting on one of the arms but not a big deal. The clamps are a little flimsy and I can certainly see how using the supplied shims would allow it slip around. Using it on a 31.8mm handle bar I was able to add a strip of cut up inner tube which completely solved the problem that many others seem to be having. Totally solid now. The side that clamps to the extension bar are a little flexy and I could have easily tightened until the clamps either broke or jammed together which isn't ideal but as long as you're sensible and only tighten as much as necessary then again it won't be a problem. It's excellent for the money and I wouldn't bother spending more.

Easy to install
Great for adding extra room if you like your handle bars short, like me, for lights sat navs, phone etc. My one gripe is it could come with more options with regards to the spacers provided. I had to wrap tape round my bars as the spacers provided were to big for my bars.

Good for lightweight items
It’s a bit fiddly to install but simple enough. It was bought to mount a screen for an Ebike conversion but couldn’t hold any more.Needed a bit of inner tube to stop it moving as the shims it came with didn’t

OK Doesnt fully tighten so no heavy weight on it but its fine for my front light, easy install.

Missed a trick with gripping
These are just about OK for me to use with a fairly heavy light. But they missed a trick! The spacers supplied to fit the appropriate sized handlebar are too solid - they need to be rubber, not plastic! I've read many reviews about how they just don't grip well enough - well this is the reason why. In some cases I have read reviews where people have broken the product over-tightening (because it doesn't grip well enough).TIP - use patches from your puncture repair kit or an old inner-tube as spacers to help it grip better. If you use a rubber spacer of your own, you will find the product is perfectly adequate for the job it needs to do.

A bit small
Sturdy and does the job. A lot smaller than I expected though, and a total pain to mount, I had to use some old inner tube to grip my handle bars as mine were in the middle of the two plastic insert sizes.
