Aug 2020: I've been using this for about 2-3 months now. It's best to use this at night before bed as it is an extremely rich moisturizer for my oily/combination, sensitive, acne-prone skin. I use it especially when my skin is irritated/ red due to dryness, over-exfoliation, sun damage, etc. Dry skin folks would love this as it's very potent at moisturizing, nourishing and soothing. It has very good ingredients like Cica and ceramides to calm the skin and strengthen the skin barrier. After cleansing, use 1-2 pumps and follow it up with a moisturizer (only if required) and go to bed. You'll wake up to nourished, supple and calm skin with no redness/ irritation. P.S - Wish it didn't have any essential oil in it (This has rose oil) as these can be irritating to the skin in the long run. Although it hasn't broken me out. EDIT: April 2021 - I've just ordered my 3rd bottle.! I think this is something that's going to be a constant repurchase for as long as they make it. Nothing, believe me nothing, soothes my skin as instantly as this one does. Any red spots, I dab this on the red/ irritated part (usually my jawline) and bam! within 2-3 hours the itchiness, redness/ dryness is all gone. It definitely has a cooling effect like one of the other reviewers has already mentioned. I've experimented with quite a few products - I've tried Korean skincare products in the soothing & healing serums & moisturizers range, these have Centella, Snail mucin, etc. and I've also tried extremely popular Western Ceramide moisturizers but this serum wins hands down! :) Makes me so happy that an Indian product that's so easily available, works wonderfully on my finicky skin. I try to pick it up when there's a sale so it doesn't turn out to be expensive.

This product is great for people with dry flaky irritated skin. It makes the skin normal and repair the barrier within a week of its consistent use day and night. I loved this. I have bought 6-7 bottles of this until now.

So I've been hearing a lot about dr.sheth's products these days especially the cica & ceraminde night serum and wanted to give it a try since I've been looking for a good serum for my face. So I got this and after using it, I'm really loving this. This serum has a very thin consistency and absorbs really well into the skin. It moisturizes my face so well and it also has a really soothing and calming effect. The only thing is that the fragrance of this serum is a bit overwhelming for me but except for that its a lovely product! I'd definitely recommend this to everyone.

Being a dry skin person i must say its best but i dont think it helps with barrier repair

Its amazing for dry, sensitive and lightly pigmented skin(acne marks). This serum felt so smooth, so easily absorbed into my skin. It has some smell of the marula oil or something but nothing too offensive and even that vanishes once its absorbed into the skin.

The serum has a white creamy thick texture and very mild fragrance. The squalane and ceramide is the ingredients which are present in the serumm... which helps skin to repair. It nourishes the skin deeply. Serum is designed to work for indian skin, and climate. Niacinamide present in it helps remove scars.. the consistency is the key.
