$15 to fix $50,000 car ... Tesla is cheap and this product is fantastic
I bought a new Model 3 and immediately noticed the wind noise from the glass roof. Checked the forums and all the Tesla apologists basically said there's no engine so you're noticing things you normally wouldn't. This is normal ... But it is NOT normal. There's a LOT of wind noise, especially on highways. Anyway, i researched and found this cheap little seal, thought might as well give it a try since the other alternative was to schedule a service with Tesla and have them potentially replace the glass roof (which probably still won't fix the issue since this is a design flaw). The seal arrived on time, i went out to the car to install it myself and didn't really get anywhere. Called my wife to help, and we installed it in less than a minute together. Took the car out for a quick drive, and could not believe how much difference this little seal made ! The car is quiet now and actually feels like a luxury car it should have been out of the factory.

An upgrade over the previous version, improves noise overhead
For reference, I have an early build Tesla Model 3 (VIN 145XX), April 2018 build. I installed the first generation BASENOR wind noise reduction kit. It reduced my noise a bit, but the BASENOR rubber had too much slack. I decided to upgrade to this one to see if that issue has been resolved. So far so good! The noise went down around 25% compared to the original BASENOR wind noise reduction kit, but not such a big difference that it will make the car feel like night and day. It creates a reasonable sound barrier that reduces the noise that makes over the top of your head. Installing was easier this time. The first version had a lot of slack and I spent a lot of time moving it around to reduce the amount of excess rubber. This one stretched and fit perfectly. I also liked that they gave the plastic trim tool, I used a credit card last time to reach the gaps. Overall, I am satisfied. I will update this review if I hit any hurdles.

Good solution to reduce wind noise
Product is made out of good quality material and it took less than 10mins for me to get it on my car. Simple and cheap fix to reduce wind noise and looks stock. It even helps keep dirt and small debris from getting into those roof gaps. This should have been part of Tesla’s original design, but I’m glad there was an easy aftermarket way to do this upgrade.

Good Quality. Good Price!
Basenor makes great products for the Tesla Model 3. So far I have found their aftermarket products to be of high quality at a good reasonable price. Their pricing is generally lower than their major market competitors, but this does not mean there is a sacrifice on the quality of the product. I purchased this Noise Reduction Kit as a replacement to my original roof window seal that I purchased from RPM Tesla just over a year ago at almost double the price. The results are the same and the Basenor product is just as good and made from the same material as the RPM Tesla product. For Canadian owners of a Tesla Model 3, Basenor products are a good alternative (through Amazon.ca) to purchasing from American resellers where the dollar conversion is at 30% more plus the cost of shipping and added duty and taxes! I also purchased the Basenor silicon wiper blades for the Model 3 at a fraction of the price that Michelin wants (which are still not available in Canada!) and they work fantastic. Basenor has made them as a perfect fit for the Model 3. So don't hesitate to check out the full line of Model 3 products from Basenor. If you live in Canada, it can be worth it.

Easy peasy!
Easiest install on a Tesla mod ever. Takes 5 minutes. Looks good, like OEM would have. Now the back window could use this too. Not sure about the nose reduction, maybe a little. But the biggest thing is now little leaves won't get stuck in the crevices! Nice!!

worked at speed above 65MPH less wind noise
BASENOR has done it again excellent product does what it is supposed to do. Installs in less than 5 minutes. Press it in, no tools are needed, no gluing, cutting, or mess but it comes with a pressing tool (DID NOT NEED). Once installed the open gap channels look better than new. Did not realize how large the gap was untill I installed this. The large gaps on the sides of the car and the front and back edges on the roof glass look perfect and are flush or below the glass line. At low speeds maybe up to 50-60 could not tell any difference. But definately at highway speeds above 65-80+ it was noticabelly quiter.

Not, Happy. Cuts into factory seals, will not stay in groove.
I had the seals installed, easy install, made a bit of difference on windy days. Problem is it cuts into the factory seal. I can already see it damage the factory seal and peel it from the glass at the corners. It also popped out at 80mph, making it useless. It is unusable in current form. I am returning mine.

Excess material made it impossible to install correctly - So don't know if it works.
The instructions to install this was a link to YouTube videos created by OTHER vendors of this product. Those videos were easy to follow. However, the product sent had about 10" of excess material after installing. Many of the video describe and show maybe 2" - 3" of excess material that you sort of press into the gaps between the glass - that's odd in itself, but at least they show how that is done. There is no way to stuff an extra 10" of material into the gaps. You can't cut it since it is a loop (like a giant rubber band) and you need the elasticity to keep the material in.Since I am writing a negative review since:1. The people selling didn't even make the install video.2. The product was too long to fit3. I have no idea if it would provide any noise cancellation4. I have no idea if this thing would just fly out going down the freeway.

Super easy to install
Great product, my brother bought one for his Tesla and saw significant noise reduction esp. when on bluetooth. So I purchased one for myself, and can confirm that the wind noise is cut dramatically when on the highway.

Could damage original glass roof seal
Easy to install, but quite tight. After a few months the seal pushed down on the original seal on all corners, possible water ingress underneath it and cause further complications.Minimal noise reduction.
