Great fit!
These are exactly what I was looking for. My need is more centered around the metatarsal support. These insoles provide great support and cushion in that area but are not overly thick. Other insoles are too thick for a lot of my favorite shoes and make them too tight or make my foot sit too high in the shoe itself. These work great in my Vans and Converse and my slip on Asics. I just ordered a second pair that should be arriving today.

Some Relief!
I am sort of an "expert" right now with orthotics, unfortunately. The podiatrist I saw said I do not have Morton's Neuroma, although my pain feels exactly like that. He said my bones were misaligned due to a bunion and the only recourse was surgery (when pigs fly) or custom orthotics. I paid the $500 for the fancy CAD ones for my foot, broke them in correctly, and now it's a year later and after wearing nothing but athletic shoes with the orthotics, the issue remains. I also tried ones made in a running store ($200) specifically for my ball of foot pain area. No change, either. I've tried every OTC ones as well, so I gave these a whirl out of total frustration. For me, they just might be the answer. I find them to be comfortable and to alleviate the pressure on the ball of the foot which normally feels like I have a balled up sock under it. I specifically wanted to try the shorter length since I can only wear the bulky expensive ones with athletic shoes and I'm sorry, Martha Stewart, but I often need a regular shoe. These work with those and so far I'm feeling they are the best option I've found. I'll undoubtedly order several more.

My experience/ foot type/ condition
Ok so I’m only a week into these but I’m pretty sure these are going to be the best off the shelf orthotic insoles I’m going to find, for my feet. I suffered a SEVERE lisfranc fracture; ie broke three metatarsal bones and disclocated them and other foot bones. 2+ yrs later and my foot still causes me problem (full disclosure never did physical therapy after surgery because I didn’t have health insurance, I just kind of dealt with it and used it more and more as time went on and treated it like I did before the injury.) The biggest issue it gives me is mid stride for no apparent reason I’ll get a shooting pain like i misstepped which reminds me I injured my foot and am not 100%. I’m also flat footed with literally no arch whatsoever when bearing weight and a minuscule arch when no weight is on my feet. So with all that info out of the way. These insoles metatarsal support feels more like an arch support and the padded heel and ball of the the foot areas seem thin in comparison to other insoles I’ve tried. Initially I wasn’t going to give them a try and thought the support would make my feet hurt in the arch of my foot. However my feet feel great, they still get tired and sore after a days worth of work but they feel better than before with other insoles I’ve had, not literally stronger but stronger in the sense of better feeling. The more important thing to me is I’ve yet to experience the abrupt shooting pain I’d experience at least once a day before these insoles. Even when not wearing them my bare feet walking at home feel more stable (the tripod support) like a good foot should feel. In summery these insoles worked for me. The only thing I’d like to see improved would be better or more cushiony/ bouncy like padding in the heel and especially the ball of the foot area. As is is good but I think it would be more comfortable with a gel pad. Note I also followed the sizing recommendation; ie my foot measurement and NOT my shoe size, which I think makes a big difference too. I ordered a size medium based on my foot of 10.5” vs my shoe size that ranges between 10.5-11.5 depending on the shoe brand/ style of shoe.

Seems well made but not for every foot pain. I guess they give good support.
If you have pain in you ball part these are not for you. I bought these as a gift but they did not work so just be careful .

Life changing for a backpacker
I’m a female long distance backpacker with 1000’s of miles logged. But I have messed up feet. Super high arches, Morton’s toe, thin ankles, and worst of all- when I carry a heavy pack I suffer severe ball of foot pain. Arch support alone has never been enough for me in this sport carrying heavy gear. Especially with extreme elevation gain and fall. The fall, when all the impact hits the ball of foot. This is the ONLY insole I have ever found that cushions and SUPPORTS all the painful spots. I 1000% recommend. I have a pair for every outdoor boot type I own, and now hiking is a dream. Thank you!

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!!
Total disappointment!!!! No ball of foot cushioning, just a huge elevated hump in the center, raising your foot that makes your shoe fit too tight!!!!

Love these.
They fit great in wide toe boxed shoes, like Altra's help my metatarsalgia by giving a good transverse arch and support

Buen producto
